Department of Environmental Protection. It contains a list of construction permit applications filed with or acted upon by DEP. Interested persons will th~s be able to determine the status of applications dealing with Waterfront Development permits, Wetland permits, Stream I Encroachment permits, Sewerage Extension permits, CAFRA permits (Coastal Area Facility Review Act) and Federal Consistency Certifications. In addition the circular provides a calendar of Events and Interest and a Schedule of Public Hearings. (THE PUBLIC HEARINGS HOWEVER, ARE NOT OFFICIAL NOTICES.) OBA's technical personnel function as industry ombudsmen in all areas of governmental activity. J The Office of Business Advocacy's objective is to c~t red tape and get solutions to permit problems. OBA will designate a Permit Expediter to your project. The Permit Expediter will: I A. Advise you of the state permits required for your project, upon completing the "ONE STOP" PERMIT IDENTIFICATION FORM. B. Coordinate contacts with relevant local and state regulatory agencies upon request. C. Monitor the progress of your permit applications. D.
