SCFDAM2C3RBL60167 Registration: TBC Engine no - SCFDAM2C3RBL60167 Price: €110,000.00 Chassis no -89/60167/A The Aston Martin Vantage was introduced at the 1992 British International Motor Show and such was the transformation of the Vantage that it only bore a passing resemblance to the Virage. The new car’s styling was comprehensively updated to create a far more aggressive appearance, every panel, with the exception of door skins and roof, being different to that of the Virage. Revised cylinder heads, camshafts and pistons were also added along with twin Eaton Superchargers giving the new car an impressive 550bhp. Significant improvements to chassis and braking systems, larger wheels and tyres and a completely new interior with Connolly hides and burr walnut fascias rounded of the new car. With the demise of the Virage in 1995 and for those customers who liked the look of the new Vantage but didn’t want the brutal power of the twin supercharged V550, Aston Martin began to offer the ‘V8 Coupe’ which was launched at the Geneva Motor Show in 1996. The V8 Coupe shared the same chassis and body as the Vantage V550, with minor revisions to wheel arches and grille, and had basically the same interior. It also shared the same enhanced 5.3 litre V8 in fuel injected form but without the twin superchargers, mated to a 4-speed Chrysler TorqueFlite automatic gearbox. A more relaxed uncomplicated car but still an Aston Martin with 350 bhp and a 0-60 time of 5.9 seconds! Only 112 of these LHD were ever produced. Air conditioning, electr. Window lifters, electr. Convertible top, automatic, seat heating, electr. seat adjustment. Up to the replacement of Virage Volante by the optically mod- ernized V8 Volante 1998 233 vehicles were built. The Aston Martin Virage is a luxury automobile produced by British manufacturer Aston Martin. The Virage was available as a hatchback coupe and as a convertible. A high- performance version, which was designated as Vantage, was added, as well as individual custom-made versions with partly differing bodies on customer request. By 1996, 877 Virage vehicles were produced. The Virage Volante convertible de- buted at the 1990 Birmingham Motor Show as a strict two- seater, but a 2+2 version was shown at the 1991 Geneva Motor Show.
