Certifi ed Nursing LL Certifi ed Nursing Assistant Level I Assistants (CNAs) In just weeks, be prepared to enter an in-demand career fi eld with limitless growth opportunities. This is a state certifi ed program, guaranteeing eligibility level 1 certifi cation on the North Carolina Nurse Aide Registry to all who pass the state exam. Topics covered will include the role of the CNA, communication, safety, patient rights, personal care, vital signs, elimination, nutrition, emergencies, rehabilitation and mental health. Classroom lecture instruction is three weeks at the assigned Lifelong Learning center for 27 hours of training. This will be followed by one 28-hour-week at CareOne Health for lab work. Course culminates with one 40-hour-week of clinicals at a nursing home facility.
