NORBERT The college community of St. Norbert offers a superior education that is personally, intellectually, and spiritually challenging within a close-knit community where the faculty not only know our students’ names, they know their hopes and dreams. Our solid foundation in the liberal arts and sciences means students gain the critical-thinking, problem-solving and leadership skills they need to succeed—an ideal combination for employers, who actively seek St. Norbert graduates. At St. Norbert College, we work to build a program unique to each student’s aspirations and to pro- vide the learning opportunities that will ensure lifelong success. Our faculty are as invested in their students’ education as at any top college campus today. And our students are enthusiastic partici- pants in their education, putting their education to work—in internships, immersion experiences, research projects and volunteer endeavors—even as freshmen. MORE THAN A COLLEGE—A COMMUNITY The values that St. Norbert students develop—collaboration, compassion, a practical approach to life—have never been in greater demand in the work world than they are today. Molded in the cul- ture of the Norbertines, a Catholic order devoted to community, education and serving others, St. Norbert gives students access to a variety of service and leadership opportunities. And the strong sense of community permeates the entire campus—faculty, staff, students and alumni. It is one of the most recognizable and frequently noted characteristics of St. Norbert College. A safe, supportive community that is academically challenging and dedicated to service and one another, St. Norbert College is a place that students love so much that they call it “home.” SMALL IN SIZE, BIG IN CHOICES With a 14:1 student-to-faculty ratio, our class sizes provide for individualized attention, yet students can choose from over 30 majors, or create their own program to achieve their unique aspirations. St. Norbert encourages a global connection with study-abroad opportunities in more than 24 coun- tries, and students hailing from 27 countries and 26 states. St. Norbert College is the ideal campus nestled on the banks of the Fox River. It’s located in the res- idential community of De Pere, neighboring the metropolitan Green Bay area—rich in culture, busi- ness and opportunity. In academic programs, social activities, housing, study-abroad, arts, athletics, and internships, St. Norbert provides the variety and choices that students desire for an educational experience unique to every student. 3 THE COLLEGE COMMUNITY OF ST.
