In the many years that I've been playing music, I have I was so excited for the CGM weekend - I couldn’t wait never been more impressed with where my talent has to see all my friends again and meet some more amazing sent me, than the magnificent city of Ottawa for the musicians. The Competitor’s Showcase on Friday night, Canadian Grand Masters. While it has been a dream of where each province’s representatives performed a few mine to always play on a national stage, I never thought tunes together, was a great opportunity to catch up with for a minute that I would have as amazing of a time as the people I met the summer before and hear what tunes when I was at the airport, getting ready to get on my first people play across Canada. The next day was the airplane to travel at speeds of up to 570 MPH at 40,000 competition itself. All 29 competitors played a waltz, a feet in the air! jig, a reel, and a tune of choice, and then the finalists were announced. It was an extremely strong group of In Ottawa, the first thing you notice is that everything is fiddlers; there were so many talented players who gave it so flat...and surprisingly clean. YOUR VIOLIN HELP SOURCE!

Congratulations to the Castlegar Fiddle Workshop! It was a great camp, good to again meet all the friends & fiddlers.

I have found one of the most successful ways of improving sound in a violin is to put on the new “TULIP SHAPED” tailpieces. Almost without exception, this new design has given the violin a more focused, silvery sound. Have put them on both average and also very expensive violins with very definite sound improvement. Available in various woods-- ebony, rosewood, other exotic woods. With or without built in tuners. Price is $59.00 without tuners and $125.00 with the tuners. You can easily put them on yourself.

Looking to buy a violin? For beginner students, the Stentor outfits at $260.00 includes Tonica or equal strings(not metal) or the Eastman violin outfits starting at $400.00 are the best instruments I have found at these prices. Want an advanced violin? Have various ones available.
