Rebecca von Lipinski Soprano Rebecca von Lipinski was born in Mansfield and studied at the Royal Northern College of Music‚ supported by the Peter Moores Foundation‚ and at the National Opera Studio in London. Her awards include the Clonter Opera Prize‚ the Audience Prize and the Elizabeth Harwood Memorial Award. Recent and future engagements include Leonore Fidelio (Houston Symphony Orchestra‚ Stuttgart Staatsoper, Mannheim and Garsington Opera)‚ Elettra Idomeneo (Garsington and Kilkenny Arts Festival)‚ Tatiana Eugene Onegin and Lisa Pique Dame (Stuttgart) and a Tchaikovsky Concert in Ulm. From 2011 to 2016 Rebecca was a Fest Artist with Stuttgart Opera‚ with whom roles included Mila Osud‚ Emma Khovanshina‚ Jenufa‚ Thalie Platée‚ Eurydice Orphée et Eurydice‚ 5th Maid Elektra‚ Elvira Don Giovanni‚ 3rd Norn Gotterdammerung‚ 1st Lady Die Zauberflote and Chloé Der Schaum der Tage (L’Ecume des Jours). Engagements cancelled or postponed due to Covid include Elsa Lohengrin (Staatstheater Darmstadt).
