Play Features at Admiralty Park

There are three sets of play features within the 7-ha urban area of the park. The play features are catered to children of different ages, and focus on themes of exploration, adventure and nature.

Play Areas Junior Play (recommended for 2 – 5 years old)

• Children can climb on small mounds and play with slides on gentle slopes • Inclusive play equipment for children with special needs

Types of equipment: a) Expression Swing: first swing in that allows parents and toddlers to swing together b) Family Slide: widest slide in a park to allow parents and kids to slide down together. The gentle gradient is designed to ensure (Photo credit: ) sliding down will be at a safe and gradual speed c) Inclusive play elements: wheelchair swing, inclusive merry-go-round and panels have been installed to allow kids of all abilities to play together

Family Terracing Play (recommended for 5 – 12 years old)

• Children can explore different levels and zones with interesting play equipment such as climbing ropes and telescopes

Types of equipment: a) Roller Ride: the only outdoor closed circuit roller ride b) Double Barrel Slide with Net Climber: approx. 23m long, with (Photo credit: National Parks Board) a height of 9m. The connecting

net climber between the slides allow kids to climb all the way to up to the top of the slides. It is the longest and tallest tube slide in a public park c) Waterfall Climber: climber that follows the contours of the existing terrain

Adventure Play (mixed age group play)

• The playground has two sets of roller slides: a) High Adventure Roller Slide with LED lights: approx. 32m long b) Curved Roller Slide: approx. 34m long with gentle curves. It is the longest outdoor slide in a public park
