To Watch Live Click Here to Watch Live *!streaming-live!* NFL Hall of Fame Game 2021 Live @HQ (Cowboys vs Steelers) Pro Football 5 Aug 2021 Click Here to Watch Live Click Here to Watch Live Now 03sec ago!〜Last month, the 15 modern-era player finalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2021 were announced. That list originally started with 130 nominees (which were named in September) and was cut down to 25 semifinalists in November, before reaching the current number. Now, between four and eight former football greats will be announced as the Class of 2021 on Saturday. The Pro Football Hall of Fame will announce this year's class during NFL Honors, which is set to take place at 9 p.m. ET on CBS. Among the 15 modern-era finalists are four former players who are on the ballot for the first time: defensive end Jared Allen, wide receiver Calvin Johnson, quarterback Peyton Manning and defensive back Charles Woodson. The Class of 2021 will be enshrined on Aug. 8 in Canton, Ohio, a day after the Class of 2020 is enshrined (which is occurring due to last year's ceremony getting postponed because of the coronavirus pandemic). Here's a look at the finalists for this year's Hall of Fame class. What is the Hall of Fame Game? The Hall of Fame Game is an annual preseason game that kicks off the Pro Football Hall of Fame enshrinement festivities. The contest also marks the start of the NFL preseason. When is the 2021 Hall of Fame Game? The 2021 Hall of Fame Game will take place on Thursday, Aug. 5 at 8 p.m. ET. Who will play in the Hall of Fame Game? The Dallas Cowboys and Pittsburgh Steelers. The storied franchises were originally scheduled to clash last year but the game was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Dallas and Pittsburgh are tied for the most HOF game appearances (6). Where is the Hall of Fame Game? Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio, the home of the HOF Game since 1962. How can I watch the Hall of Fame Game? The game will be broadcast on FOX. As of now, the NFL plans to allow fans to attend the game. Tickets can be purchased here. The 2021 NFL Preseason will get underway with the traditional Hall of Fame Game, an NFL exhibition match that takes place annually since 1962. Last year's game was postponed given the challenging circumstances with the pandemic outbreak. Therefore, the duel between the Dallas Cowboys and Pittsburgh Steelers that was scheduled for 2020 will finally take place this year to kick off the Pro Football Hall of Fame ceremonies and the league's preseason. These two familiar foes hold the record for most appearances in this game, and this time will mark the seventh Hall of Fame Game appearance for each side. Here, check out when, where, at what time, and how to watch this traditional football game. The Pittsburgh Steelers flirted with history in 2020, winning their first 11 games as they attempted to join the 2007 New England Patriots as the only teams to post a perfect record in a 16-game season. Their high hopes came crashing down hard, as they lost their next three contests and finished with five defeats in their final six outings, including one against Cleveland in the AFC Wild-Card Round. The Steelers will be out to prove the latter portion of 2020 was a fluke when they kick off the preseason against the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday in the 2021 NFL Hall of Fame Game. The Cowboys were one of the Steelers' victims during their 11-0 start last year, as they suffered a 24-19 home loss in Week 9. Kickoff from Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET. Pittsburgh is a 1.5-point favorite in the latest Cowboys vs. Steelers odds from Caesars Sportsbook, while the over-under for total points scored is 33. Before locking in any Steelers vs. Cowboys picks or 2021 Hall of Fame Game predictions, make sure you see what SportsLine NFL expert R.J. White has to say. CBS Sports' Fantasy and gambling editor, White ended the 2020 season on an 80-59 run on all NFL picks, returning more than $1,400 during that span. It's no surprise, as White has cashed huge twice in the world's most prestigious football handicapping competition, the Las Vegas SuperContest. In addition, White has gone an astounding 44-24-3 on his last 71 picks involving Pittsburgh, returning more than $1,700. Anyone who has followed him is way up..

Cowboys QB Dak Prescott and Lions Rookie LB Jarrad Davis Among NFL Players Who Trained at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Disney With most NFL training camps underway, Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott and Detroit Lions rookie LB Jarrad Davis were among several players who participated in final offseason workouts with renowned performance trainer Tom Shaw at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort. Prescott (drafted by Cowboys in the 4th round of the 2016 NFL Draft) and Davis (drafted No. 17 overall by the Lions this year) trained at Disney with fellow NFL players working with Shaw to improve speed, agility, strength and explosiveness. Shaw has worked with other NFL stars such as Hall of Famer Derrick Brooks, Jameis Winston, Calvin Johnson and Tom Brady. Part of the workouts with Prescott and Davis involved training with youth athletes who are spending their summers getting ready for their upcoming sports seasons. In addition to Davis and Prescott, Shaw also had more than 40 NFL prospects and veterans in his program earlier this spring, including the No. 17 overall pick (Washington Redskins) DE Jonathan Allen. Over the years, Shaw has worked with more than 145 NFL first-round draft choices, 10 No. 1 picks and 11 Super Bowl MVPs – many of whom he has trained at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. Shaw also works with youth and collegiate athletes, including those who participate in Disney Spring Training, where high school and college baseball, golf, lacrosse, rugby, softball, tennis and track & field teams train at Disney during spring break.

  • Detroit's Thanksgiving Day Tradition
DETROIT’S THANKSGIVING DAY TRADITION It was, legend says, a typically colorful, probably chilly, November day in 1622 that Pilgrims and Native Americans celebrated the new world's bounty with a sumptuous feast. They sat together at Plymouth Plantation (they spelled it Plimouth) in Massachusetts, gave thanks for the goodness set before them, then dined on pumpkin pie, sweet potatoes, maize, cranberry sauce, turkey and who knows what else. Actually, fish was just as predominant a staple. And history books say pumpkin pie really debuted a year later. But regardless of the accuracy of the details, that's how Thanksgiving Day is seen by Americans -- except Detroiters. They may have most of the same images as everyone else, but with a new twist that began in 1934. That's when Detroiters and their outstate Michigan compatriots found themselves at the dawn of an unplanned behavior modification, courtesy of George A. "Dick" Richards, owner of the city's new entry in the National Football League: The Detroit Lions. Larry Paladino, Lions Pride, 1993 Four generations of Detroiters have been a proud part of the American celebration of Thanksgiving. The relationship between Detroit and Thanksgiving dates back to 1934 when owner G.A. Richards scheduled a holiday contest between his first-year Lions and the Chicago Bears. Some 75 years later, fans throughout the State of Michigan have transformed an annual holiday event into the single greatest tradition in the history of American professional team sports. Indeed, if football is America’s passion, Thanksgiving football is Detroit’s passion. DETROIT AND THANKSGIVING DAY No other team in professional sports can claim to be as much a part of an American holiday as can the Detroit Lions with Thanksgiving.

I’m still learning, but it’s good to have [WR Brandon] Stokley back. Me and Decker were here when [Stokley] was first here—we’re still here, plus [WR] Matt [Willis]—we’ve been here for a while. I’m looking forward to him helping us out to get better as a group of receivers, also.” On whether QB Peyton Manning helps correct receivers on the field “Yeah, you get him telling that to everybody. I guess it’s just something he always does with his receivers, and he’s doing the same for us.” On hearing corrections from a quarterback as opposed to a coach “I do what the coach wants, but also what the quarterback wants, because the quarterback is throwing me the ball. They both want the best for us.” On when he could catch passes after getting pins removed from his thumb “When I actually got my pins removed I was back in Georgia. I was still working out maybe a week later, and I started catching a week or two later. I just waited until they told me I was able to run routes. When I started sweating, it was probably about two or three weeks [later].” On not being able to practice with Manning right away in the offseason “I was basically just wanting to come in healthy.
