Titanic Brewery was founded in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent in 1985 by brothers Keith and Dave Bott, and takes its name from the ill-fated steam liner Titanic. Born & bred in Staffordshire, these two beer-loving brothers decided that the best way to produce great tasting beer was to buy a brewery and run it themselves. Even though they have now been running the brewery for 30 years & employ around 150 local people, Keith can be regularly seen mashing- in each morning at the brewery and Dave is often building bars and painting walls in their existing pubs as well as new ones.
