With the decline in sale of other local newspapers, local news is being lost, Social Me- dia is ok but it is over and done with the following day so we believe we are crucial in this by keeping news alive and in front of the public. Other matters this month are Hatches, Matches and Despatches (Births, Marriages and Deaths) another local service which has declined in recent years, but is still important.
