Infos Nur-Sultan Signed INVITATION Dear Presidents of National Federations and guests of the capital, On behalf of the Organizing Committee for the 2019 UWW Senior World Championships and Kazakhstan Wrestling Federation, we would like to express our respect and invite you to this event, which is set to take place September 14-22, 2019 in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan. The 2019 Wrestling World Championships should draw even more fan attention as it will serve as the first qualification event for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. The top six finishers in each Olympic weight category in Nur-Sultan will secure an Olympic qualification for their nations. The 2019 Senior World Wrestling Championships will become a historic event for our country since never before has Kazakhstan organized competitions of this level in Greco- Roman, Freestyle and Women's wrestling. It is important for us to involve more people and spark in the hearts of people the love of the traditional sport. The World Championships will attract great attention to the population and give an impetus to the growing popularity of wrestling in the country, which will increase the authority of the federation in the international arena. The competition will be held at the Barys Arena in Nur-Sultan on September 14-22, 2019. It is a great honor for Kazakhstan to host the 2019 UWW Senior World Championships. The Organizing Committee is privileged to welcome you to our wonderful country and invite to become part of this important sports event.     WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP GRAPPLING - GRAPPLING GI 22-23 September 2019 Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan GENERAL REGULATIONS 1- PARTICIPATION a. Only the National Federations associated or affiliated to United World Wrestling can participate in the Championship. They are fully responsible for entering their athletes within the deadline. b. National Federations or Committees can enter, for each style, a maximum of 1 athlete per weight category. Final entries confirming the names of participants, number of nights of their staying for the Accommodation Package should be entered on Athena (http://athena.unitedworldwrestling.org/) before 22 august 2019. If you have any issue using Athena, contact [email protected] . c. All athletes are under the responsibility of the National Federations and Committees, as well as directly authorized representatives and coaches. Any violation will be punished in accordance with the rules of United World Wrestling. d. The organizing committee is providing an Accommodation Package that include accommodation in double room, breakfast, lunch, dinner and Transportation from/to the Competition Venue at fixed times. Cost of the Accommodation Package is 150 CHF/day per person and is to be paid at the accreditation center on the day of the arrival at the Official Hotel. The Competition Fee and Transport from/to are included in the Accommodation Package. The bank details to pay in advance are to be requested to the organizer.
