In the central library (‘t Forum) you find a lot of books, most of them in Dutch but also in Login and activation English. There are also magazines, newspapers in French, English and German belong- ing to the different study fields. Computers

You can log in to our library computers with your username and password. All our ­­computers have access to the internet and can be used for free. You can manage your own folders at any time and no one can delete your work . No one can install extra programs (network). If you have a laptop, there are enough power points to charge your laptop.

You can use the free wireless internet connection (VIVES-GUEST) or you can login to the ‘secured environment’ (VIVES-EDUROAM).

Public library

Free membership at the public library in Kortrijk with your student card. The library collection has novels, magazines, informative books, free time games, adult comics, music, film, poetry, playscripts etc. As a member you have access to computers with internet access and mediapcs for music-, film- and photo editing. You find study space in the the Open LearningCenter on the first floor and during revision periods you can access the Orange Room (check data on our website). For research there are databanks like Gopress and classical archives. The library host expositions, lectures and work- shops on a regular basis. All the more reasons to become a member for the duration of your stay.
