Letter for Coach Drake

Bronco Football Parents,

The 5k race that we host here at McKinney Boyd on Sunday, Oct. 9th is our main fundraiser to support our community cancer project. Funds raised through 5k registrations goes to support individuals in our McKinney community that are actively fighting cancer. Over the past several years we have been able to make a significant impact in the lives of people in our community. I am encouraging all of our players to sign up and participate in the 5k. I am asking that as a family you consider participating as well. We have a chance to make a difference in the lives of those around us and to help the young men in our program to understand the value of service to others. If you do not want to run, then you can still register and come join us in support of those that do run. If you want to walk instead of run, that is perfectly fine as well.

We do have a chip timing system so that runners get accurate times. Please help spread the word to your friends and neighbors. It will be great to see a large crowd on that day as we strive to make a difference. Paula has included the registration link below. I know we will have a need for volunteers as we get closer to the date. Be on the lookout for the signup genius.

Come get involved as you help us make an impact!
