They battle over rare verdant asteroids and tiny caches of ever precious iron. Always in the shadows are the illithids, awaiting the time when the might of the sorcerer kings fail and they can sweep over the cities, expanding their rule. The ships of the Crimson Sphere are small asteroid-hoppers powered by psionic helms or terrible lifejammers; true spelljammer helms are unheard of. Catapults and ballistae are rare devices, highly coveted but impossible to repair. Ships from other spheres, such as hammerships, are unknown. If one were found, it would be a one-of-a-kind, a relic to be fought over until it falls apart from lack of repairs, for none would know how to or have the materials to properly repair such a craft. Most ships cannot survive a landing on a large world, as their hulls are too fragile for such things and their helms too weak to escape the pull of large planets. 2 Beyond the Moons http://spelljammer.org/ TThehe SSextantextant WWorldsorlds ooff tthehe CCrimsonrimson Size A to B Asteroid belt In the ancient texts, this thin asteroid belt was a whole world. Guide to the Spheres An "official" Spelljammer Guide to the Spheres [revised 1.0] By Paul Westermeyer aka GMWestermeyer Table of Contents: Page Section 1 Introduction 2 Phlogiston Navigation 4 Phlogiston Transit Times 4 Where is the Rock of Bral? 6 “Official” Flow Map 7 The Spheres and other Phlogiston Locations 23 ‘Loose’ Planets/Worlds 34 Bibliography: Introduction Spelljammer is a very unique and creative setting, but it is also one of the worst organized settings TSR produced with material is scattered among many different products. This makes it very difficult to find what you are looking for, a problem exasperated by Spelljammer’s status as a ‘connection’ campaign, designed (like Planescape) to connect the ‘big’ three settings, Forgotten Realms, Greyhawk, and Dragonlance. I’ve been working to alleviate this problem by writing guides and indices for those aspects of Spelljammer that are most important for creating a coherent, rational game setting. The first of these guides was An “Official” Spelljammer Timeline, which collated Spelljammer-related historical mentions in published TSR products into a cohesive, coherent timeline that Spelljammer (or Hackjammer) gamemasters could use as the foundation of their own, personalized campaigns. This guide, An “Official” Spelljammer Guide to the Spheres, has a similar purpose. Spelljammer’s iconic center is the Rock of Bral, just as Sigil is the iconic heart of Planescape, Spelljammer’s setting cousin, but Sigil’s location is quite firmly placed at the center of the Plane of Concordant Opposition, metaphorically the heart of the entire Advanced Dungeons and Dragons multiverse. Moreover, the various inner and outer planes are all well mapped in relation to each other, and have been ever since the Advanced Dungeons and Dragons Player’s Handbook in 1978.

The DM's House-Rules: Sourcebooks: In most D&D games, the DM has certain kinds of stories they want to tell. Throwing Eberron magic-trains into Krynn kind of derails that. Here, you can buy one, some or all of these options, once or several times: ● Free: Core: the DMG, PHB, and Monster Manual; and/or the SRD. ● Free: One Setting: One particular setting's line of books, which has 3.5e material published by WotC. ● 50: Non-Core: WotC's generic books, such as Complete Scoundrel. • Planets of Realmspace
PLANETS OF REALMSPACE ANADIA Anadia is the closest planet to the Sun, being located 50 million miles away from it. The planet is incredibly hot; the vast majority of its surface is covered in rocky wastelands, broken up by cliffs and chasms. These wastelands are inhabited by umber hulks, ankhegs, and nomadic tribes of thri-kreen. The main sources of real civilisation are at the poles. These poles are mountainous regions surrounded by large seas and inhabited by dark-skinned halflings. These halflings are believed to be the descendants of halflings from Toril who were abducted by neogi long ago, before eventually breaking free from their control. The halflings of the north pole make up the Anadian Empire. The Anadian Empire is ruled by a totalitarian government that exploited fears of domineering, disease-carrying outsiders during the Atropus Wars to gain total power over the north pole. As such, the Anadian Empire is incredibly insular; shoots down foreign spelljammer ships that enter its airspace. It also sends out spelljamming ships to seek out and eliminate potential threats to the Anadian Empire across Realmspace. The halflings of the south pole are dominated by the South Anadia Trading Company. The South Anadia Trading Company rose in power several decades ago when they gained access to spelljamming technology. Able to travel across the stars, they were swiftly able to economically dominate the various nations and dynasties of the south pole. Now that they've conquered South Anadia, they seek to extend their reach across the rest of Realmspace. COLIAR Coliar is the second planet from the Sun, being located 100 million miles from it.

As you walk in the winds whistling claws. Listen past the howling of the wolfs jaws. My song Comes to you. And when youre lost in trackless snow, Look up high where the eagles go. My star Shines for you. In deep, dark mine or on crumbling peak, Hear the words of love I speak. My thoughts Are with you. You are not forsaken. You are not forgotten. The North cannot swallow you. • Bestiary of the Realms, Volume 1 TABLE of CONTENTS
Bestiary of the Realms: Volume 1 by Eric L. Boyd and Thomas M. Costa Art by Noëlle Triaureau (aughisky, cave fisher, cooshee, gaunt, greater raven, werefox, finhead saurial, shoosuva) and Thomas M. Costa (campestri) A NOTE FROM THE AUTHORS The Forgotten Realms has been a living breathing world for decades, brought to life by the fertile mind of Ed Greenwood in 1967 and nurtured and grown by countless authors and game designers since its publication in 1987. Between 1987 and 2000, TSR, Inc. and Wizards of the Coast released an enormous volume of game material for the Forgotten Realms under the aegis of the 1st and 2nd Editions of Advanced Dungeons & Dragons. In 2000, Wizards of the Coast updated the venerable Dungeons & Dragons game, with the release of 3rd Edition or “3E.” In 2001, Wizards of the Coast updated the Forgotten Realms campaign setting to 3rd Edition as well. In the opinion of the authors, the introduction of 3rd Edition is a welcome addition to the ever-growing Forgotten Realms, for the system’s flexibility allows game designers to better represent the endless variety of life that dwells in the Forgotten Realms. However, the downside of the new version of the game is that, given the volume of game material produced under the banner of earlier editions, Wizards of the Coast will never be able to update all of it to the new system. This discordance is very unfortunate for the Dungeon Master running a campaign set in the Forgotten Realms, for it is the vast quantity of Realmslore that makes Abeir-Toril feel like a living, breathing world.
