AVENGERS A One-Hour Drama

AVENGERS, is a drama set with real characters with extraordinary gifts, who’ve joined the United States elite super team approved via the United Nations, under certain conditions they only act on American soil, in modern sense it will be told as a spy drama, with character facing real problems, and global threats. In the modern way, AVENGERS will be more than a spy drama, it will be a character driven series about the Avengers as regular every day human beings with pasts they wish to keep secret from each other in order to keep the team together, and in the government and citizens positive side, when ever being faced with tasks bigger than each other their problems occasionally seep into the main stories, causing character conflict and drama among the team which might often questions why they would be together if not being a family.

The Universal theme of the show is to bring to light our own deep dark secrets from the each other and learn how to responsible accept each others faults, tying in with the average American Life, and even a person critic on one’s self and the government he/she places their life in every day, and whether they feel that the judgment from that decision is justified or even politically correct. Our Grand theme of the series would be Super Heroes, as Government spies, facing terrorist threatening the life we hold grand, no matter personal politics pushing them against the dangers of various terrorist organizations such as the most Threatening and well hidden In this sense AVENGERS ceases to become a common SMALLVILLE series and goes for the greater goal of a serious Super Hero espionage spy drama told in real time and in realistic tone being told with serious real characters in an extraordinary situation. Each season whether it be Nine episodes or Nineteen, is all part of a Universal story arc paying homage to the comic books which these characters arisen from with creative side stories linking every ones life together, and ultimately pitting them in Urbanized or War styled combat for America. The Style of the show would be considered Hyper Realism, despite the characters appearances and design,

fitting them into the realistic environment they belong in, very experimental being the show’s main characters are Super Powered. The ending of Each episode or Ending features strongly on the resolution or rising of the main characters problems or situations at the end of each episode or season. 4.

SETTING 5.

An ULTRA-MODERN Washington D.C. and NEW YORK, Majority of D.C. Filled with suits and generals this is a more Liberal setting for the series, showing all our politics and corruption taking place here, with the AVENGERS chosen homes in between missions. New York, a dirty rustic city at Night and the most Beautiful city in the day, every result of the choices in D.C. are shown in it’s extreme stages. The Main Character resides at AVENGER TOWER, the New Yorkian house of the Avengers. AVENGER TOWER, Luxurious top of the line house hold, various rooms and areas keep the Avengers and keep them docile and shows their interest, other times they just in various areas when in a psychological conundrum.(this is opposed to their D.C. HQ where they prep for missions and get briefed.) S.H.I.E.L.D. The underground resource to the Avengers, Strategic Homeland Intervention Espionage Logistics Division, lead by Nick , a disgruntle war vet who’s older than may appear, joins the Avengers on Field missions. 6.

THE AVENGERS 1.)CLINT BARTON a.k.a. (Main Character): Mid 20’s To Early 30’s, Born in a life of poverty grew up as a child steeling to survive, raised by good loving Parents working in the World Circus at age 13, eventually realized the dream of and became an Olympic Archer and quickly to fame winning gold medals and eventually retiring, and raising a family, when under suspicion to be working undercover for S.H.I.E.L.D., HYDRA kills his family and joins project AVENGER in hopes to destroy HYDRA, keeping them from ruining anyone’s life.(NOTE: Will be named HAWKEYE, He would Dress in his ULTIMATE COMIC’S AVENGERS UNIFORM for the Missions) 2.)NICHOLAS FURY: (Ultimate styled) ex Vietnam soldier who appears to be in his mid 30’s, very commanding and usually takes leader ship, but often relieves the position giving Hawkeye the front role showing great faith and confidence in him. 3.)NATASHA ROMINOV a.k.a. BLACK WIDOW: EX-Soveit spy from the 90’s Beautiful stunning red head, deadly with any weapon, appears to be in her late 20’s early 30’s and is very flirty with Clint, at first shows this towards Fury but is eventually rejected, when Hawkeye is acting commander of the Avengers she is second in command(Ultimate Uniform). 4.)JANET VAN DYNE(Later will be PYM) a.k.a. : Lover of and a skilled " on the wall" she uses her unique mutation as a way to spy for the avengers in hi-res undercover missions gaining easy reconnaissance(Ultimate Uniform) 5.)HANK PYM a.k.a. ANT-MAN: Janet’s boyfriend, technicians expert, he show’s aggressive self hating stress against himself as a way to keep from hurting Janet, uses his Pym Particles as a way to join the Avengers on missions serving as Janet’s back-up or in times of need replacement(Later Marries Janet, wears Ultimate Giant Man uniform, but with classic Ant-Man helmet.)

6.)STEVE ROGERS a.k.a. : (Note does NOT appear to Season 5) appears to be early to mid 20’s recuperated from Ice the WWII Veteran Steven Rogers is brought back via Hank Pyms discovery and creation of project "ICE-MAN" in season 5 he struggles to find his place and starts out a S.H.I.E.L.D Field agent, after the end of season 5 finds his true calling requesting to lead the Avengers, much to Hawkeye’s dismay, and to Natasha’s Interest becomes romantically linked with Steve and Clint, causing a seasonal love Triangle between the three, through the series until season 8 they would be at odds, until Clint is saved by Steve, who breaks ties with Natasha stating

(Wears an Amalgam of the Original Captain American Uniform and the Uniform.) 7.): A humanoid being created by re-hacked by Hank, the Ultron created being is troubled by the shadowy past from his run in and continuously seeks forgiveness and friendship from the Avengers, who albeit Nick’s Blessing, is an Avenger. Wears black clothing to bring out the humanoid appearance, with artificial hair and skin.

8.)JESSICA DREW: Newer agent, works with Nick in Undercover missions develops as a behind the Scene Character. 9.

HYDRA 1.) : Handsome philanthropist, Believed to be an Elder war monger from Hitler’s 3rd Rike, very calculated and very cunning appears to be in his mid to late 30’s, leads Hydra (seasons 1-3)

2.) : early 30’s Beautiful Backstabbing second in Command of Baron Strucker, faking as his lover, eventually becomes 2nd in command of Hydra very quickly showing racist views against the United States. Leads Hydra (seasons 2-4)

3.) : EX-Marksman best in his field, extremely brilliant scientist as his grandfather(a Nazi Style) still holding on to Hitler’s ideal Nazi image, eventually finding leader ship under control of a mysterious Partner. Is the true Lover of Viper Leads Hydra (seasons 4-6)

4.) : German terrorist with Mysterious ties Captain America, appears to be in his early to mid 30’s around the same time. being a ruthless cut throat war monger, it is Revealed to be Zemo’s Leader in the finale of Season 6 and leads Hydra rest of series.

5.) a.k.a. FURY: Nick Fury’s older brother, who as a child he worshiped because of how he protected Nick, for years was thought dead, has been using the Alias SCORPIO to work as a hired assassin and is one of the best there is.

6.) WINTER SOLDIER: An Assassin as linked to Caps past as the Red Skull appears late in the series as a hired hand challenged with killing every avenger except Captain America, but eventually repeals for his crimes and is put in a situation where he joins the Avengers. 10.

BIBLE 11.

(BASIC OVERVIEW) SEASON 1: Assembling of Avengers, main character arcs dealing with: Clint, Natasha, Nick, Jessica, Hank, and Janet. Janet Alludes to Marrying Hank, but worries he’s drinking, Clint thinks of asking Natasha to dinner, but worries over whether or not dating a team mate is a good idea, in the end, he does as her. Nick is worried over the Hydra assassin Scorpio, who took out most of the S.H.I.E.L.D Officers SEASON 2: The Avengers are Assembled and are on a Manhunt for Strucker while dealing with personal troubles, Clint and Natasha starting a relationship, Janet and Hank struggling through theirs, closing in on Strucker and Hydra. Nick ends the season by killing his own brother SEASON 3: The media is having a Frenzy, strucker is found dead, the Avengers exposed as the murderers, no evidence on Strucker being connected to HYDRA points them as Too powerful, the government threatens. Viper with her New Lover Baron Zemo are the real killers who killed Strucker becoming Hyrdra’s new head honchos. SEASON 4: The United States built a Government Control unit called ULTRON, (an acronym for ULTIMATE.LOGIC.TERRORIST.RESISTANCE.OPERATE.NETWORK.) to keep enemy groups off United States Soil. Over the progress of the season it becomes a corrupt a system, eventually plotting the death of the Avengers as it’s only threat, in reaction creates the vision, which hunts down the Avengers, eventually being captured and re-programmed by Hank. While Baron Zemo makes his way up the HYDRA ladder and Kills Viper. becoming the new head of HYDRA and speaking to an Unknown . SEASON 5: With the Avengers going after Ultron they discover he had been working on Project ICE-MAN before he became corrupt, this leads to the avengers challenging Fury to tell them everything about project ICE-MAN, he tells them and informs them that it is of the greatest super hero of all time CAPTAIN AMERICA(most of this happens the first 5 episodes) after searching using various resources they find the frozen remains of Captain America, and re-open Project Rebirth while thawing Cap out, we learn the history of his time at war(this would be 1 to two episodes place around episode 7 or 8) the rest would be Steve wanting to serve the public as a S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent and we go on an arc with both the Avengers and Steve in separate missions, the Avengers going after Zemo and Steve doing under cover work infiltrating hydra. The season ends with the Avengers getting captured, Hawkeye put in Critical Condition, and Steve Rogers telling Nick he doesn’t want to work as an Agent any more.

SEASON 6: We open Nick talking to Steve about how he’s needed and that he needs his help to save the rest of the Team, Steve states "I said I don’t want to be an agent, it doesn’t mean I Don’t want to help." nick questions his statement, Steve reveals he believes it’s time for Captain America to Return to action(this is where we get the updated suit mentioned in Steve’s character) He alone goes on a covert mission to save the Avengers, when finding the position of their holding, he goes alone, with a new shield made of , he makes it through everything surprisingly easy, only to find the Avengers in a Death trap held by a man covered in Darkness(NOT ZEMO) he speaks of his and caps relation, and hows they’re brothers of the Project Rebirth, he reveals a rusted dirty old Nazi helmet in the shape of a skull(red skull’s look for the series)it comes down to a combat between cap and skull the winner takes the hostages, the fight hails more to skull’s side, but cap wins barely by smashing his shield into red skull’s head, he unties the avengers and the red skull gets away, the avengers head home(Pilot episode for the season) shortly after that Cap reveals to the world the Avengers, the rest of the season follows under widow flirting with cap making Hawkeye jealous, and cap obsessing over his connection with the red skull beyond project rebirth and trying to adjust to the 21st century. SEASON 7: Cap is more use to everything, he’s adjusted to finding out everything everyone he knew had been through, and continues his pursuit of the Red Skull while leading the avengers, his feud with Hawkeye continues and his love triangle between him and Black Widow and Hawkeye escalates with Widow sleep with Cap and dumping Hawkeye. Hydra begins planning a master ideal, with Red Skull plotting to kill the Avengers strategically keeping Hydra more secret while growing it’s resources. Ending the season with the Red Skull speaking of a man known as the WINTER SOLDIER. SEASON 8: Cap begins a bonding friendship with Vision they begin letting each other in, Vision helps cap unlock the mystery of Johann Schmidt, The Red Skull. Majority of the Season is the Avengers and Cap after the Red Skull with Hawkeye considering quitting, due to the Widow’s actions between him and Cap. Season Finale ends with Hawkeye leaving the S.H.I.E.L.D. HQ, and the Red Skull gets in contact with the Winter Soldier.

SEASON 9: Hawkeye has disbanded, the Avengers look for him and find him going by the alias of "" serving as a vigilante(we run a few episodes on his time as Ronin). He ends up fighting the Avengers, besting most of them, as he runs cap chases him, they end up in a brooklyn brawl, they decide that if Clint wins, Cap leaves the team, and that if Cap wins Hawkeye rejoins the team, Cap mops the floor with

Hawkeye(mainly because of his old school soldier training, Clint puts up a decent fight, but it’s no contest) Clint rejoins the team, grudgingly, the Winter Soldier watches all of this. we get our first actual look at him, all we notice is the mask and outfit(from the books) The rest of the Season Cap get’s clues about the Winter Soldier, while being sent with the rest of the Avengers on a mission to stop a group of 3rd world terrorist called the Liberators(this takes place over a 2 episode arc) Finally the Avengers gain information that they’re planning a built from a Chinese scientist against his will aimed at the White house. The avengers stop the nuke and arrest the Liberators, we go into a couple of Character episodes(which spread through the series) we feature a small episode arc with Fury looking back on Cap, and Fury doing a private Coverate Operation, when he gets back we draw more into Cap leaving Black Widow for Clint’s sake, stating that she needs a man more like him, then we develop little by little information on the Winter Soldier, learning that he is Soviet Made, finally he draws cap out, atop a building in New York, the face of the Winter Soldier stuns Cap, we find out it is . They fight and Cap is seriously challenged with Bucky but beats and Jails him. Season ends with the Red Skull making note of Barnes Failure and announces the notion of Project Pegasus. SEASON 10: Under a secret organization Skull bombs various countries, unknown he is giving credit to the Avengers, the United Nations call for the Avengers to be Disassembled, the Avengers fight back searching through decimating every part of Hydra they get near, while Fury is the Back up and informant(this arc will be the entire season) The avengers split into groups of Two, Cap and Vision, Ant-Man and Wasp, Hawkeye and Black Widow, Jessica fully becomes involved and helps Nick keep Washington at bay, while the Avengers Hunt down Red Skull, the end of the season The Avengers find Skull but are trapped leaving Cap and Skull in a Fight with Skull beating Cap like a physically handicapped child, Skull tells Cap that he plans on Killing cap and the Avengers, Cap responds by beating the Red Skull half to death, and freeing the Avengers, in one final act of desperation Skull pulls the pin on a Grenade, Cap grabs onto red skull and they purge over a cliff, blowing apart, Cap is near death and Hawkeye makes it down in time to hear Caps last words pleading that he doesn’t let the mantle of Captain America die, and that he saves Bucky, Hawkeye respectfully agrees and apologizes for their past against each other. SEASON 11(FINAL SEASON): Steve Rogers is Dead, Hawkeye is leader of the Avengers, offering Bucky a way of redemption by wearing the Uniform of his ex-best friend, Bucky believes he doesn’t deserve to wear the uniform but agrees, and takes the Mantle of Captain America, their last mission, Kill

Baron Zemo and Destroy Hydra. Bucky struggles getting into the role of Captain America, he eventually does around episode 10, He begins to be a very open leader, but Hawkeye keeps an eye out for him. They eventually get dropped into an urban war, after learning Nick was Kidnapped on a mission, and is in Hydra custody, being held in a 3rd world country, they’re pinned down and this is when Buck shows initiative as Cap, charging in over powering the enemy, this leading to the Series finale the Confrontation between the Avengers and Baron Zemo, the End result in a battle between The Avengers and Hydra, the Avengers win and Bucky kills Zemo and Hydra disbands, Bucky studies the uniform of Captain America, asking hawkeye what he would’ve done different, Hawkeye replies "I would’ve given him the respect he deserved." Bucky ends the Series as Captain America Announcing that Steve Rogers is dead, but the Mantle shall live on as will Steve’s legend.
