Floral bracts intrudens was recently recorded in India from as long as or slightly longer than ovary, pale the Andaman and Nicobar Islands (Alappatt green, ovate-lanceolate, apex acuminate, 5–1.2 × 2017), this species has not been recorded from 2–4 mm.
