NOTICE OF MAKING DEFINITIVE MAP MODIFICATION ORDER 2008

WREXHAM COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL

THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY BOROUGH OF DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT OF PUBLIC RIGHTS OF WAY

DEFINITIVE MAP MODIFICATION ORDER TO DELETE PUBLIC FOOTPATH NUMBER 29 IN THE OF MINERA

The above Order made on 30 day of April 2008, if confirmed as made will modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by deleting from them the footpath from Wern Road (B5426) at grid reference SJ 2692 5157 in a generally north-easterly direction for approximately 105 metres to cross the at grid reference SJ 2699 5166, then in a generally north and north-westerly direction for approximately 50 metres to Wern Road (B5426) at grid reference SJ 2698 5170, as described in the Schedule below.

A copy of the Order and Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at the Guildhall, Wrexham and Post Office, 7 High Street, and Post Office 4, Ruthin Road, from 9.00 am to 4.30 pm Mondays to Fridays. Copies of the Order and map may be obtained free of charge from the Guildhall, Wrexham.

Any representation or objection relating to the Order must be sent in writing to the Chief Legal and Democratic Services Officer, Council, Guildhall, Wrexham, LL11 1AY not later than 18 June 2008, and applicants are requested to state the grounds on which it is made.

If no representations or objections are duly made to the Order, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Wrexham County Borough Council, instead of submitting the Order to the National Assembly for may itself confirm the Order. If the Order is submitted to the National Assembly for Wales, any representation or objections which have been duly made and not withdrawn will be sent with it.

SCHEDULE Description of path to be deleted

A public footpath, that is a path over which the public have a right of way on foot only, as shown by the solid black line from Wern Road (the B5426) at grid reference SJ 2692 5157 (Point A on the attached Order plan) in a generally northeasterly direction for approximately 105 metres to cross the River Clywedog at grid reference SJ 2699 5166 (point B on the attached Order plan) then in a generally north and north-westerly direction for approximately 50 metres to Wern Road (the B5426) at grid reference SJ 2698 5170 (point C on the attached Order plan). The whole length and width of the path will be deleted between points A and C on the Order plan.
