o The reunion committee has chosen the Crowne Suffern - Mahwah Hotel for the reunion weekend. o Bus transportation is available free of charge for FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 10. Bus Transportation for SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 11 is $32 per person o Free Parking onsite

o You will receive memorabilia items at the reunion. You will be able to pick-up your items during the times on the schedule listed as Check-in with WPAOG Staff. o If you are not attending the reunion, all orders will be mailed after the reunion.

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 9

• Welcome Reception • Three hour cocktail reception (one hour with food): Hors d’oeuvres include bacon scallops, mini grilled cheese with tomato soup, mini crab cakes, boneless chicken fingers with asian sauce, filet mignon on toast points horseradish aioli, fried ravioli served with marinara sauce, mini slides served in silver chaffing dishes, stuffed mushrooms served in silver chaffing dishes, chicken skewers served in silver chaffing dishes, international cheese board, marinated grilled veggies board. You will have a choice to purchase a ticket with an open bar included with meal.

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 10

• Lunch • Hot sandwich Buffet: Choice of either barbecue pulled pork or grilled marinated chicken served on a Kaiser roll with macaroni and cheese, tossed garden salad, potato salad and coleslaw. Choice of assorted cookies and brownies.

• Dinner • Dinner Buffet: Caesar salad, tomato & mozzarella caprese, artichoke or mushroom salad to start. Choice of chicken & sun-dried tomato entrée, oven roasted salmon entrée, penne alla vodka entrée and comes with a dinner roll with butter, assorted garden vegetables, and a choice of roasted potatoes or rice pilaf. Pork loin carving station. Option of assorted cakes for dessert.

• Pre-Game Mimosa Tailgate • Brunch Tailgate: Fresh fruit, assorted muffins & croissants, NY bagels with choice of spreads, smoked salmon, omelet station, sausage & bacon, waffles with fresh fruit toppings & crème, cubed breakfast potatoes. Sausage & peppers, fire braised chicken, served with BBQ sauce on the side. Cookies & brownies. Iced tea, lemonade, iced water, 2L soda. Draft beer (Budweiser and Bud Light) and house wine

REGISTRATION & GUEST FEE

• ALL graduates, surviving spouses (widows/widowers) and family members and guests are REQUIRED to pay the registration fee prior to registering for any other reunion event. Covers registration memorabilia (class ) for Graduates, lanyards and nametags for all, and reunion overhead (admin costs, general hotel costs, other event costs etc.). • There are 3 Registration Fee Types: o Graduate Registration Fee ($90) o Fallen Graduate Next of Kin Fee ($40) o Guest (Spouse, Partner, Parents, Children, etc.) Fee ($10) [includes EVERYONE (adult or child ages 4 and up) attending the reunion with a Graduate

FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 10

• Homecoming Memorial 5k Run/Walk o Participants can walk, jog, or run. Strollers are welcome. Strollers and walkers will start near the back of the pack. o There are no bib numbers. o The run will begin and end outside Gillis after an invocation given by a USMA Chaplain. It will go out to the rugby field, turn around, loop around Shea stadium and then repeat for 3.1 miles, 5K. See below map.

o You will receive a waiver when you check in for the reunion. Each person participating in the run/walk MUST sign a waiver. o Participants can change for the run in the Ike Hall bathrooms or the public restrooms outside of Shea Stadium. o There will be a clothes drop off table at the registration table outside of Ike’s Riverside Café in the Athena Room at the West Point Club. We will have plastic bags with labels for your clothes at this table. You can leave your bagged clothes at the table during the run but are responsible for retrieving them afterwards.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 11

• Saturday Alumni Exercises & Cadet Review o Weather Decision ▪ Is usually made three (3) hours prior to the review. ▪ If the review is cancelled due to inclement weather, it will be posted on West Point’s Facebook page (“West Point – The U.S. Military Academy”) and on the installation’s info phone line, 845.938.7000. ▪ If the review is cancelled, the class photo will be taken in the Cadet Mess Hall. ▪ Reunion buses will be delayed until the time listed in [ ] on the reunion schedule. ▪ Class Aides and WPAOG staff will notify the front desk at the hotel of any changes. ▪ All other activities will take place as scheduled on Saturday. o Alumni Exercises ▪ Is a wreath laying ceremony at Thayer Statue ▪ Graduates assemble near Eisenhower’s statue on Thayer Walk. Graduates then march across diagonal walk in columns of four to Thayer Statue. ▪ Only graduates and ex-Cadets are authorized to march in the Alumni Exercises. Guests will sit in the Review Stands, specific class section is listed on the reunion schedule. o Cadet Review ▪ Graduates are on the reviewing line next to their class guidon. Only graduates and ex- Cadets are authorized on the Plain. Guests will sit in the Review Stands, specific class section is listed on the reunion schedule. ▪ Veterans, retirees, and active-duty military not in can render a military-style hand salute during the playing of the national anthem, and during the raising, lowering or passing of the National flag. ▪ There are no tickets for the Cadet Review. ▪ Graduates who cannot stand or walk for long periods are encouraged to use a wheelchair or sit in the bleachers with their spouse/guests. The Cadet Review is normally 50 minutes.

• Saturday Operation Uniform Change o If you are in uniform (ASU A) and wish to change after the cadet review/Class photo, you may change into casual “Go Army” attire for the football game. o You may use the restroom facilities in the mess hall to change.

o Once you’ve changed , bring your uniform to the reunion check-in table in the mess hall. WPAOG staff will tag your uniform and the Class Aides will collect them. o You may claim your uniform at the pick-up times listed on the reunion agenda. o Unclaimed bags at the end of the pick-up time period will be returned to WPAOG and will be available for pick up at WPAOG Monday morning or shipped to you at your expense. o Please do not put any valuables in your bags. o If the Cadet Review is cancelled, just wear spirit casual to all Saturday events – there will be no bag drop off or pick up. • Saturday Pre-Game Meal o The meal is at the West Point Club. Brunch will start at 9:30am.

• Adding Events/Attendees to Previous Registration - Before the August 29, 2021 registration deadline o If you register for the reunion and then decide to add an event(s) or guest(s), call the WPAOG Alumni Events team, 845.446.1649, for assistance and reference our reunion. • Cancellation Timeline (Reunion) o Cancel on or before AUGUST 29, 2021: ▪ Refund for individual events & meals ▪ Registration fee not refunded ▪ Registration packet and memorabilia will be mailed to you after the reunion o Cancel after AUGUST 29, 2021 and through reunion: ▪ ALL refunds for individual events & meals on a case-by-case basis decided after the reunion from Class Leadership ▪ Registration fee not refunded ▪ Registration packet and memorabilia will be mailed to you after the reunion
