2020 Primary Election Notice Aviso De La Elección Primaria 2020 2020 PRIMARY ELECTION NOTICE AVISO DE LA ELECCIÓN PRIMARIA 2020 WHEREAS, it is provided in Section 1-11-2 and 1-11-3, New Mexico Statutes, Ann., that the County Clerk shall give notice of the election by proclamation at least once, not more than twenty one nor less than seven days prior to any County or Statewide Election, the objects thereof, the offices to be voted for, the names of the candidates for each said office, the final day and time absentee ballots will be accepted, and the place where said election is to be held. CONSIDERANDO, que se proporciona en la Sección 1-11-2 y 1-11-3, New México Estatutos, Ann. , Que el Secretario del Condado deberá dar aviso de la elección mediante una proclama al menos una vez , no más de veintiún años ni menor de siete días antes de cualquier estado o la elección estatal , los objetos de la misma, las oficinas a votar, los nombres de los candidatos para cada oficina, el último día y hora en ausencia de las papeletas serán aceptadas, y el lugar donde se llevará a cabo dicha elección. NOW THEREFORE, the Clerk of Chaves County, New Mexico pursuant to said provision of law and the authority vested in him HEREBY PROCLAIM, PUBLISH, AND GIVE NOTICE this 12th day of May 2020 of a Primary Election to be held in Chaves County, New Mexico, June 2, 2020 AD. The Primary Election shall be for the purpose whereby the voters may vote a preference for the following offices: POR LO TANTO, el secretario del condado de Chaves, Nuevo México al amparo de dicha disposición de la ley y la autoridad que le confiere la presente proclamo, publicar y dar aviso de este día 12 de Mayo de 2020 de una elección primaria que se llevó a cabo en el condado de Chaves, Nuevo México 2 de junio, el año 2020 AD. La elección primaria debe ser con el propósito por el cual los votantes pueden votar una preferencia por las siguientes oficinas: All election day polling locations shall be open between the hours of 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Defendant does not object to testimony from these witnesses 1 Case 1:17-cv-04660-LMM Document 99 Filed 08/07/19 Page 2 of 25 regarding their individual efforts to meet the qualifying requirements under Georgia law, so long as that testimony is based upon the witnesses’ personal knowledge. However, Plaintiffs’ declarations go much further, containing sweeping conclusions—without factual support—regarding Georgia’s ballot access requirements. Many of these declarations also contain inadmissible hearsay statements and improper opinion testimony from witnesses not properly designated as experts. Moore In my dissertation, I analyze the motivations behind a country's decision to call for the removal of another state's government, a serious challenge to state sovereignty and non-intervention principles. I construct a model explaining the initiation and escalation of these “regime claims” in the Americas. I find that states are motivated by two factors: (1) threats to an otherwise acceptable status quo, and (2) the opportunity to improve an unacceptable set of bilateral relations. Additionally, countries calculate the probability that they can oust another leader with a claim or militariZed action. I use logistic regression techniques to test a series of hypotheses derived from this theoretical model, finding that threats and opportunities drive claim initiation, but evaluations of the probability for success determine whether countries militariZe such claims.
