Gelsenkirchen, a former coal mining town, has switched to a more modern outlook, focusing on solar power and parks. The town also offers a zoo with a boat ride around the park.

Germany - Münster University of Applied Sciences Cities: Language: English, German With over 13,000 students, it is one of the largest public universities focusing on applied sciences in Germany. They partner with local businesses to provide practical skills. Courses in Master’s of Accounting are also available. Münster prides itself on being the bicycle capital of Germany, while Steinfurt is known for its beautiful old castle.

The International Business School provides students with practical experience through partnerships with local business. The university is located in the heart of historic Lin- coln on the Brayford Marina. It is a growing city, with a lively music scene.

The head of the business school used to work in the non-profit sector. The campus is right in the middle of the city, a stone’s throw from the famous York Minster Cathedral. Students can also visit The Shambles, a network of Victorian alleys within the city.
