EconBiz Partner Network welcomes internationally renowned business school as new member

ZBW – Leibniz Information Centre for Economics brings on board the first international business school, the S P Jain School of Global Management with campuses in Dubai, Singapore and Sydney.

Kiel/Hamburg, 9 April 2014: 15 international institutions from 16 countries are now EconBiz partners of the German National Library of Economics (ZBW). With the recent membership of the S P Jain School of Global Management, ZBW data will be promoted in Australia for the first time.

In 2012, the ZBW started its worldwide affiliated marketing campaign with six international premium partners. With the S P Jain Global School of Management and its campuses in Dubai, Singapore and Sydney, the ZBW has brought a high-ranking international business school on board. The S P Jain Global School of Management (www.spjain.org) occupied 19th place in the 2013 Forbes Ranking (see http://www.forbes.com/business- schools/list/international/) of internationally active business schools and reached the Top 100 of global MBA programmes in the 2011 and 2012 rankings of the Financial Times (see http://rankings.ft.com/exportranking/global-mba-rankings-2012/pdf)

The cooperation aims to integrate EconBiz, the search engine for economic information, into the learning and working environments of students and economists.

Through the EconBiz Partner Network, the ZBW reaches 260,000 international students of economics and related subjects. Since the campaign started in April 2012, the number of visits to the portal has quintupled. One aim of the international EconBiz Partner Network is the improvement of information literacy.
