McGonagill collided with two teammates while chasing a loss ball and came away with a severely lacerated front lip that required plastic surgery and 20 stitches, along with some major dental work. He sat out practice on Thursday, while recovering from the trauma, and was presented with a protective mask on Friday that wound have to be worn in order to compete.
