Youth Cafe Denholme Shared Church We have been down to Doe Park and are looking to design a sensory garden. We have started by tidying and clearing it and making space for our ideas to improve the area. We have been granted some funding which means we can buy T-shirts and print designs onto them. They can then be sold to make money for the youth cafe. We have planned to make improvements within the youth cafe making

it a better space for all to enjoy.

A TEAM The A Team is a new youth club for kids who may struggle to access the other clubs. We include children with various disabilities, including autism, and with limited mobility. We have

been running now for a couple of months and is proving to be very (Photo: Martin Beaumont) popular. This club gives adults time to have a chat and a coffee whilst the kids play, listen to music or be creative. Although it is held in the DMI Community Centre it is still run by the Denholme Youth Cafe committee and trustees and therefore under the charity of the DYC. Using the DMI Community Centre just allows more room as the Youth Cafe has limited space.
