Ajay Kumar, Member (J) :- Heard the learned counsels for applicants and Shri Kumar Onkareshwar, learned counsel, on receipt of advance notice on behalf of respondents. MA No.171/2018 2. For the reasons stated therein, the MA filed for joining together in a single Application is allowed. MA No.172/2018 3. For the reasons stated therein, the MA filed for exemption is allowed. 10 OA No.163/2018 OA No.163/2018 4. The applicants who are casual labourers under the respondent- Archaeological Survey of India, for sometime and whose services are said to have been terminated orally w.e.f. September, 2017, filed the OA seeking the following reliefs: “a) the direction/ order may kindly be passed for reinstatement of the applicants in their job with full wages. b) the direction/order may kindly be given to the Respondent to give the applicants 1/30th status, dearness allowance alongwith other benefits and salary equal to the regular employees. c) The direction may also be given to the Respondent to give the applicants the compensation during the retrenchment period. d) The e-procurement scheme or the recruitment through e-procurement scheme may kindly be stayed in the interest of justice. e) Any other order/direction(s) as deem fit in the facts and circumstances of the case may also kindly be passed in favour of the applicants against the Respondent, in the interest of justice.” 5. Though it is submitted that the applicants made representations to the respondents, no such copy of the same has been filed along with OA.

The locations at which these accidents took place are given in the attached statement (Annexure/I). (b): During the same period, 55 `hit and run` cases involving fatal accidents were reported from the areas falling under the jurisdiction of the Police Stations the names of which are given in the attached statement (Annexure-II).     DRUG ADDICTION – IDENTIFICATION AND INITIAL MOTIVATION This field guide has been designed to train and prepare those working in the area of drug addiction. It brings together the expertise and resources of professionals with more than twenty years of experience in drug addiction prevention, treatment and research in India, and is intended for counselors, service providers and trainers. It is hoped that this guide will build capacity by helping to develop well-equipped, competent and effective professionals. The Community Wide Drug Demand Reduction in India project of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment and the United Nations International Drug Control Programme, Regional Office for South Asia was initiated in 1999. The National Center for Drug Abuse Prevention and eight Regional Resource and Training Centers set under the project focus their efforts on a large increase in skilled personnel and the training of trainers. A series of field guides is being developed towards this end. Drug Addiction: Identification and Initial Motivation is designed to help counselors identify and assess the extent of substance abuse. It contains comprehensive information on the signs and symptoms by which abuse of specific drugs — heroin, cannabis, alcohol, and others — can be determined. This covers medical and psychiatric complications stemming from abuse, as well as behavioral patterns at home and in the workplace that serve as clues to the underlying problem.
