ISSN /;0003-5246 Winter 1979 151 OVER THE EDITOR'S DESK by Bettie Brandon Davis This issue marks the end of my term as editor, and I thank all of you for your interest and encouragement. It has been a challenging two years and I've learned a lot. Nevertheless, it will be good to get back to research, school, and house keeping full time--a lot of dust collects figuratively and literally while one holds such a time-consuming volunteer job as this has been. Our mail has brought many fine suggestions, many of which we have incorporated, and much good material for publishing, all of which will be passed on to the next editor. For all that we sincerely thank you. Give our new editor the same fine support you've given me, and we'll have the best magazine everl NEWS AND NOTES FROM OTHER PUBLICATIONS Prepared by Mrs. Jane Hollis THE ROAD RUNNER.
