GENERAL GAME DAY INFORMATION

Before you leave your car to head towards the stadium, please take a second to review the items that are prohibited from entering.  Oversized bags, backpacks or purses larger than 8.5" x 11" (One sheet of paper)  Video recorders/camcorders  Outside food and drink  Any item which may be interpreted as a potential weapon, including those carried with a permit (knives, guns, personal protection sprays, etc.)  Coolers or any hard side item of any size  Umbrellas  Artificial noisemakers  Strollers  Chair backs larger than 16"  Cameras with telephoto lenses larger than 6"  Flags/Banners on poles  Pets  Illegal drugs  Any object or clothing bearing political statements  Any other item that in the judgment of game management staff poses a safety hazard or detracts from the ability of others to enjoy the event. Law enforcement officials have the right to inspect any item at any time for the purpose of spectator safety. Prohibited items must be returned to cars or disposed of before entering the stadium. There are no provisions to check items at any gate.

All gates open 1 ½ hours prior to start of the event.

Aisle/Section Entry Ticket stubs should be available throughout the game to assist in seat verification and entry into each aisle or section. Aisle Traffic Spectators are urged to arrive at their seats well in advance of starting time. Excessive movement on the part of spectators during the game is a common complaint to game administration officials.

Alcohol Policy No alcoholic beverages may be brought into the Stadium. Any ticket holder apprehended in the stadi- um with an intoxicant will be subject to ejection without refund.

Animals Only Service animals be allowed to enter.

ATM Is located outside of the TMB Student Union Bldg.

Baby Changing Stations All restrooms in the stadium are equipped with diaper-changing stations.

Bags and Backpacks For the safety and enjoyment of all fans attending the game, large bags or backpacks over 14 in. x 14 in. x 10 in. are not permitted in the stadium. All persons, bags, and purses are subject to inspection. Individuals that refuse to have a bag inspected will not be allowed to enter the stadium.

Banners/Signs Signs, banners, pictures, etc., that are offensive to individuals and teams, which are not in good taste, and that block the view of spectators or create a safety hazard will not be allowed. The hanging or dis- playing of signs on the stadium walls, bleacher areas, ramps, or on an area of proximity to the stadi- um is prohibited

Cameras All still cameras are allowed in the stadium. However, cameras with detachable lenses 6” or longer are not allowed.

Concessions There are numerous concession stands located throughout the stadium for fans.

Emergency Contact For emergencies before gates open please dial 911. For emergencies after gates open, please call 256-782-6000. After gates open, there are ambulances and emergency personal ready to assist with any emergencies or contact the nearest usher, law enforcement officer, or go to the nearest First Aid Station.

Emergency/Evacuation Procedures In case of an emergency, the public address announcer will notify fans of developing situations, in- cluding inclement weather, fire, power failure, and game delays. These announcements are made to let fans make informed decisions, and to provide specific instructions about what to do, should an emergency occur.

Fan Security Event service personnel are authorized to conduct an inspection of patrons entering the stadium. Ushers inside the stadium offer seating assistance and general information regarding the stadium. Uniformed police officers are available throughout the stadium.

Field/Court Access Only authorized personnel with proper credentials will be permitted on the field/court before, during, and after a game. Violators will be subject to prosecution.

First Aid/ Medical Assistance First aid station at Burgess-Snow field is located at Gate E, all other venues behind the home bench.

Food and Beverage Food and drinks are prohibited from being brought into the stadium.

Player Guest Gate Football - The Jacksonville State player family gate is located at Ticket Plaza A. The visitor player parent gate is located at Gate C. All other venues at the main entrance.

Postgame Procedure NCAA regulations require that the playing field/court be cleared and remain secured immediately follow- ing the completion of all games.

Prohibited Behavior Jacksonville State University wants its fans to be known for their support, enthusiasm and sportsman- ship. We want to create a home-field advantage but we want to do so in a respectful manner that makes us all proud to be a JSU Gamecock.

In order to insure that everyone has a pleasant experience, it is up to each patron to act responsibly and to be considerate of those around them. Patrons should notify a member of the game manage- ment staff if someone is not complying with this policy, as we cannot help you if we do not know the behavior is taking place. Game management staff will give offending patrons a warning, with repeat- ed behavior resulting in ejection or arrest. Event staff reserves the right to deem an act or behavior to be inappropriate based on available information and to take whatever action necessary.

Radios and Televisions Handheld radios and televisions are permitted as long as they are fitted with an earpiece or head- phone.

Recruit Gates All football recruits should check in at the Gamecock Field House 2 hours prior to kickoff. All other sports at venue’s main entrance.

Re-Entry Guests will not be permitted to re-enter once they exit, unless they have a new ticket.

Smoking & Tobacco Policy Smoking/tobacco is not allowed. JSU is a tobacco free campus.

Football General Information

FRIDAY PRACTICE PROCEDURE AND EQUIPMENT LOADING/UNLOADING: JSU Stadium is available at designated times for walk-thrus or practice. Please contact Ricky Rutledge, our Facilities Director, prior to your arrival on campus to ensure the everything goes smooth. Team Equipment will be unloaded outside of the Visitors locker room near GATE B. The truck will be parked outside of the stadium near the Gamecock Center, but not on any grass areas.

TEAM BUS PARKING: Three (3) team bus parking permits will be allocated and team buses will un- load near Gate C on Trustee Circle. The buses will park and remain on Trustee Circle in reserved parking spots near Gate C. Please contact Greg Seitz (256-782-5279 or email at [email protected]) no later than Thursday of Game Week to set up your team escort

TEAM TICKETS: Per OVC policy, the visiting team will receive 275 complimentary tickets, with 20 of those tickets allocated for Institutional Use and sent to the visiting Athletic Director. Additionally, the Athletic Director will receive four (4) All-Access Passes and two (2) Parking Passes. Please note that these are for passenger cars only and are valid for the parking lot directly behind the Burgess-Snow Field Press Box.

VISITOR’S WILL CALL: The Visiting Team Will Call Gate is located at Gate C, near the visiting team entrance to the Stadium. The Gate will open ONE-AND-ONE-HALF (1 1/2) hour prior to the game.

LOCKER ROOM: The Visitor’s Team locker room is located near Gate B. It will be secured upon the arrival of your equipment until departure. Security personnel will be stationed near your locker room for the duration of the game. The Visiting locker room will be set up with all the essential items man- dated by OVC policy. If additional needs are required, please contact Chris Lacsaman, our Head Trainer, at 256-782-5369.

CHEERLEADER/MASCOT/SOUND SYSTEMS: Cheerleaders and Mascots can enter the stadium through Gate B and gain access to the field by their uniform identification. Sound systems are strictly prohibited.

VISITING BANDS: Visiting Bands can enter the stadium through Gate B and will sit in Section H and Section I of Burgess-Snow Field. Members will be admitted by their uniform identification. Please noti- fy Greg Seitz at 256-782-5279, at least FIVE (5) days prior to the game if a visiting band plans on at- tending the game so that time may be allotted during half-time.

VIDEOGRAPHERS: Visiting cameramen will have access to the East end zone and North side shoot- ing locations. There will be no “on field” setups for visiting team video productions.

The JSU Tennis Courts are located behind Pete Mathews Coliseum. The complex features 15 tennis courts, which are divided by windscreen. The courts also feature lighting, allowing the Gamecocks to play at any time of the day.

The Gamecock Track and Field Complex is located ad- jacent to Pete Mathews Coli- seum and Rudy Abbott Field. It features a state-of-the-art track surface and is equipped for all field events

The Gamecock Rifle Range is located in the basement of Rowe Hall. The range has 12 divid- ed firing points and each firing point is 50 feet from target, with elec- tronic targets.
