The philosophy behind the University University of Commerce is a private institute for tertiary education, and is a part of the Tanioka Gakuen Educational Foundation. Its origin dates back to 1928, when the Osaka Joto School of Commerce was established. Established at its center, Osaka University of Commerce began from the desire to nurture talented individuals who would both take up new challenges and benefit the world around them. However, we shouldn’t just follow a safe path according to previous examples of success; we ultimately have much to learn from our failures. Osaka Osaka is the largest city in Western Japan. Although Osaka is Japan's second smallest prefecture in terms of area, it has the third largest population in Japan and boasts of having the country’s second largest economy after . Osaka has evolved independently and has long been an important political and economic center. The Kita (northern) district of Osaka, with Osaka station at its center , is home to many retail businesses, hotels, office buildings, and an enormous underground shopping complex. Other topics for study include everything related to "commerce," including the flow of goods and money, different ways of looking at product development, and the methods of analyzing market trends. The convenience stores and restaurants that we all use regularly, the goods that are produced one right after another: our very surroundings are full of connections to commercial science. The Area of School Sites: A U-Media Center, GATEWAY, Library 183,448 ㎡ Floors 2 to 6 of the center serve as an open-stack library; the collection features some 500,000 publications, mainly related to social science and including many magazines and periodicals. Furthermore, the library building is equipped with sophisticated lecture rooms with full access to computer networks, so as to enable remote lectures and other digital forms of learning .
