I've done a search on our governance and UEB folders for 16-17 against all of those terms and haven't turned anything up. I can't recall ever hearing anything about this in the UEB/Council etc context.

Hi ,

Just a thought, but could any link have come through a partnership or a piece of research? There could be a link which relates to a contract there which wouldn't have been visible to UEB - teams would be the ones to ask on either front.

From a reporting perspective we don't share data outside the University execpt for statutory reporting and known PSRBs so from a P&I perspective there isn't anything.

I recall a couple of phone calls I had with Cambridge Analytica. I think these were from a few years ago so they would fall within the timeframe.

These were exploratory calls to find out about their services and the potential to run a digital advertising campaign. As part of this exploration, I think a proposal was sent by them to me.

I decided at the time not to take the discussions or any proposal any further. Hence, I don't think there'd be any record of this on our side.

I've checked my own emails and records and can't find any details. Given the timeframe and no action being taken, I wouldn't have kept a record.
