STEM Summer Camp
Students going into 6th, 7th, and 8th grades in Fall 2017 enrolled in camp will learn about force, mo‐ on, and fric on, and how they relate to the physical sciences. Campers will be challenged by LEGO engineering kits that push them to make the very most of simple machines such as belts, axels, and worm gears. Math & Geom‐ etry come to life as the campers build and u lize instruc onal models made with K’NEX, which will enhance the campers’ understanding of important concepts and algorithms. Finally, students will be able to create an interac‐ ve digital model of their learning for the week, using the Unity game engine.

Criminal Justice Camp #1
Students going into 7th, and 8th grades in Fall 2016 enrolled in this three day camp will on day 1 learn how to fingerprint and li latent prints. Work a simulated crime scene and find out who the suspect is. Day 2 will learn tac cs for team movement when clearing buildings and searching for suspects. Learn to properly handcuff a suspect. Day 3 will learn how police K‐9’s are trained and meet a re red police K‐9 and see a demonstra on from a current K‐9 officer.

Game Developer Camp Students going into 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th grades in Fall 2017 enrolled in this four day camp will have the opportunity to develop games using the PlayCanvas game engine, write computer programs using JavaScript pro‐ gramming language, create 3D models in Autodesk Tinkercad, and design pixel art using Piskel. Students will also be shown how to publish their crea ons online to share with their friends!

QuadCopter Build & Fly Camp
Teens ages 13 through 18 enrolled in this four day camp will experience drone technology in a STEM se ng. Campers will build a Quadcopter, develop flying skills, and fly STEM challenges.
