SUBJECT: Public Health Emergency – Workplace and Child & Youth Program Restrictions

1. The current COVID-19 crisis continues to present a nearly unprecedented challenge at the global, national and local levels. Our priorities remain to protect the the Fairchild community and preserve the mission!

2. Effective immediately, the following policies apply to military members, DoD civilian employees, and contract employees (hereafter referred to as members): a. If a member returns from outside the local area (150 miles from Fairchild AFB) or outside the , the member is restricted from returning to their primary duty location for 14 days. b. Members are also restricted from returning to their primary duty location in accordance with the attached Fairchild AFB Return to Duty Flowchart c. Military members and DoD civilian employees must contact supervision if any of these conditions apply. d. HHQ-approved exemptions to aircrew and flight-related mission essential personnel are available in accordance with AMC GENADMIN Compliance With CDC Guidance Upon Departure From Warning Level 3 Country dated 12 March 2020.

3. In addition, the above policies apply to children who attend Fairchild AFB Child & Youth Programs.

4. Members are reminded to practice social distancing, frequent handwashing, and closely self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms (cough, shortness of breath, or fever of at least 100.4◦). Members should contact their health care provider with questions regarding medical attention or COVID-19 testing. Military members with TRICARE may contact the 92 MDG Appointment line (509-247-2361) during normal business hours. For all other hours contact the TRICARE Nurse Advice line at 1-800-TRICARE.

5. Waivers to this policy may be approved by the installation commander in consultation with the Public Health Emergency Officer and with the recommendation of the first O-6 in the member’s chain of command. For questions concerning this guidance or for exceptions to policy, contact your chain of command.
