Experience 1. At least 3 years of experience in procurement, design, and supervision of infrastructure works. 2. Ability to assist ULBsto set standards and procedures for ensuring quality and monitoring compliances. 3. Prior experience as municipal engineer/experience in PMAY or any other Govt. Housing Scheme will be and added advantage 4. Fluency in local language essential.

Term of Engagement:

1. The appointment of professional will be purely on contract basis for a period of 11 Months, renewal of which shall be considered subject to continuation of PMAY scheme and subject to review of performance, and desired output. No candidate shall have any right to continue on the said position whatsoever the circumstance may be. 2. In case of education qualifications, in addition to an institute being approved by UGC/AICTE; the particular Degree awarded by that institute is also required to be an approved Degree. 3. Particulars of the applicant shall be filled in as per prescribed format (Appendix "A"). However, successful candidate has to sign an agreement with the Armori Municipal Council to abide by all terms & conditions as laid down in the advertisement. 4. The contract shall not confer any rights or claim of extension/absorption in the Armori Municipal Council. 5. Last date for receipt of Application: 29/10/2018 6. Qualification and experience would be as on 30 September 2018. 7. The roles and responsibilities of all posts have been briefly mentioned in Appendix-B. In addition, the roles and responsibilities should also be in conformity with the PMAY Guidelines in general for which candidate may refer the website of Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Govt. of www.moud.gov.in 8. The selection of the candidate will be completely on the basis of Essential Qualification, Additional qualification, Experience and Interview. The decision of the Interview. committee is final and binding. Roles & Responsibilities: The broad roles and responsibilities of the Civil Engineer, shall cover but are not limited to the following activities:

1) Civil Engineer: a) Identify and adapt green innovative technologies, good construction practices, disaster resistant construction, area specific design etc. to suit the local requirements. b) Preparation of city plan of action, DPRand ensure timely submission of the documents in coordination with the Consultant and Municipal Engineer in State Level Technical Cell. c) Provide technical support in associating with technical institutes on design and supervision of infrastructure works and ensure good quality assurance. d) Assess the training needs in engineering and assist ULBsto access quality training on site or at recognized centers of excellence. e) Reviews the City plan of Action and DPRsfor precision and detail and provide feedback as necessary. f) Support ULB to report with precision on progress of construction and utilization of funds under HFA. g) Any other related tasks that may be entrusted upon by the head of ULB.
