Aquesta situació ha motivat l’activisme musical i mediambiental per tal de sensibilitzar sobre diferents temes que cal que siguin considerats per transformar la situació. Temes relacionats amb l’escalfament global, amb l’efecte hivernacle, amb les energies alternatives, amb la protecció de les espècies animals, amb la conservació dels recursos naturals, etc., seran tractats en les cançons de diferents cantants i grups d’arreu, així com en les activitats i iniciatives que ells i elles duen a terme.
