Firstly, congratulations must go out to Ian Woodhouse and Paul Rowland on their triumph last year. For the second year running the championship was won by a MKII Escort, but their success encapsulated everything that the Championship wishes to stand for: quality, budget rallying. It is now over two years since the Championship was launched and in just two years the championship has come a long way. From the original announcement in July 2015, the championship now retains an impressive amount of support from sponsors, circuits and competitors. And this season is no different.
