SHHH……IT’S A SECRET! Synopsis… When we last saw Peter in the official sequel Peter Pan in Scarlet, Peter lost his shadow and with it his powers during a battle with Hook. We begin our story with a flightless and shadowless Peter Pan stranded on the shores of Neverland Island, where he discovers Wendy’s granddaughter, Maggie, has somehow made her way to Neverland Island and has been captured by an even deadlier opponent than Hook, the Black Venetian. Peter must find a way to get his shadow back and rescue Maggie even if it means confronting The Black Venetian with no powers at all. The Adventure Begins. Peter Pan: The Land of Forever The Land of forever is a proposed CGI animated full-length feature movie in the family entertainment category. Although, not a direct sequel our tale stays true to the original Peter & Wendy story by J.M Barrie and its sequel Peter Pan in Scarlet.. Through the imagination of storyteller and artist Francis Taylor, DreamTeller Studios has created a third installment to the Peter Pan franchise. Like the original story of the boy who never grew up, we expect The Land of Forever to be told for generations to come. There are several new twists in our story. While updating Peter Pan’s character we introduce Maggie Mannering, Wendy’s granddaughter for the first time on Neverland Island. We are confident this will delight and mesmerize audiences of all ages. As with other CGI features before us, we expect this project to have a worldwide impact on the movie industry. Characters… The Land of Forever introduces to the world a whole new set of characters telling an authentic story continuing the Peter Pan saga, while maintaining the spirit and essence of J.M. Barrie’s original work and follows its sequel Peter Pan in Scarlet written by Geraldine McCaughrean. The female characters featuring Maggie Mannering (Wendy’s granddaughter) and her friends are just what parents are looking for in role models for their daughters. The male characters feature Peter and Dasan learning the value of friendship, teamwork and, forgiveness. DreamTeller Studios will capitalize on both the teams’ creative storytelling and the need to provide parents with positive role models for their children, boys and girls alike, reinvigorating the millions of Peter Pan fans while winning legions of new ones. Throughout the story nemeses and friends are introduced making for a dramatic and fun-filled adventure. The Athlete Maggie Mannering Margaret (Maggie) is a very pragmatic, mature and cynical teenager. She doesn’t believe in the stories about her Grandmother’s adventures as a young girl. A tomboy at heart, she is an accomplished rugby player, top of her class, and captain of the fencing team at Folsom’s School for girls. Maggie is kidnapped by the Black Venetian and is brainwashed into becoming the evil pirate “Bloody Mary” The Inventor Bai-bo Bai-bo is Maggie’s dorm mate at Folsom’s. She is a genius and an inventor. Although most of her inventions don’t work, she is currently experimenting with a set of wings she built out of spare parts but can not seem to find a sustainable power source for flight. Her friends think she is weird because she only eats the green jellybeans and gives away all the rest. She is intrigued by the story of the lost boy Peter Ravensdale. The Believer Mariah Patel Mariah is Maggie’s other dorm mate at Folsom’s she is part of the drama club, loves to read Shakespeare, and is an avid skateboarder. She is always quoting lines from plays no one has heard of. Mariah is into the supernatural and is very superstitious and dogmatic in contrast to Maggie’s pragmatism. There is a rumor going around school that she practices witchcraft. She initiates the Ouija board game that sends the girls to Neverland Island on Halloween night after they come home from the school dance. The Princess Tiger Lily Is the princess of the Piccaninny Tribe of Indians (Native Americans) living on the Island of Neverland. She is apparently old enough to be married but she refuses any suitors because she desires Peter Pan overall. She does not like Maggie and is fiercely protective of Peter because she views him as a potential husband. Her father, chief Panther, has made Peter and honorary member of their tribe. The Chief Great Panther (Achack) Is the Chief of the Native American Tribe and the father of Tiger Lily & Dasan. One look at the Chief and one is bound to be intimidated. This can be because he is in a bad mood, or his daughter is in danger, but deep down he is extremely kind and rather sweet. He often looks stern and is rarely ever seen smiling (aside from a brief moment in which he delivered an oration in sign language). The Gentleman Starkey Is the first mate on the Devil Ray, making him second in command after The Black Venetian. He is also called “Gentleman Starkey” because of his impeccable manners and politeness. He used to be an usher (an assistant teacher) in an English public school, and is “still dainty in his ways of killing”. Starkey was happily in charge of a large group of extremely well-mannered child pirates: the Indian children, to whom he taught manners and then piracy. The Heir Dasan (Little Cat Jack) Is Tiger Lily’s younger brother and next in line to be Chief. He has trepidations about the responsibility it takes to lead the tribe. He just wants to be free like Peter, whom he idolizes and imitates. Dasan is very worried about Peter and wants to help get his powers back. He is a very good fighter and uses the different weapons of his tribe very well. Generally, he gets accompanied by his sister, seldom if ever is he on his own. However, it is becoming more and more obvious that he doesn’t need his overprotective sibling hanging around him as much. He is always trying to challenge and prove himself so his tribe can finally let him go on his own. Unfortunately, his carelessness usually gets him into more trouble than he anticipated. The Matriarch Wendy Darling-Mannering Was the eldest sibling of the Darling Family. Her brothers Michael and John looked up to her. She expressed an innocent admiration for Peter as soon as they met. As a girl on the verge of adulthood, she stood in contrast to Peter, looking forward to growing up and eventually having a family and raising children of her own. She ultimately wed and had 2 children, Danny and Jane. Wendy dedicated her life to charity and the betterment of children worldwide and has founded many programs and charities that benefit the growth and imagination of children everywhere. Now in her 80’s she had taken ill and is being cared for at home by her daughter Jane. Maggie’s mother. Maggie affectionately calls her Grandmother “Maimie” The Lost Boy Peter Pan Peter is the clever, adventurous, and confident guardian of Neverland Island. While at times he is boastful and self-centered, there is a side of Peter that is caring and joyous. His desire to stay a child forever allows him to continue his adventure unburdened by the realities of growing up. He is the embodiment of youthful naiveté. His relationship with Maggie, however, forces him to grapple with emotions he never anticipated. Our story opens with a powerless Peter stranded on the shores of Neverland Island trying to find his lost shadow… Cast of Characters Ava Kolker As a California native, Ava Kolker has been acting one way or another from the time she could walk and talk.
