After a shortened spring 2020 season and cancelled Mo., to compete in the NSIC Preview on March fall 2020 season due to COVID-19, the Washburn 29-30. Washburn will also be returning three more, including senior Ian Trebilcock, sophomore Chase Dillon and freshman Sam Majors. Trebilcock held a 74.31 stroke average in 16 rounds last season. Dillon and Majors did

Five new faces join the team this year, including freshmen Hayden Beck, Michael Bessenbacher, Daniel Duffin, Kade Prentice and transfer Cameron Riley. The Ichabods at the Miami Intercollegiate in the fall of 2019. The team will tee-off in the spring with a dual against Missouri Western on Feb. 15, to be hosted either at the Topeka Country Club or the Canyon Farms Golf Club in Lenexa, Kan., depending on the weather. The Ichabods then head to Las Vegas, playing in the Winona State Invitational on March 8-9. Washburn takes a trip to Edmond, Okla., to participate in the UCO Invitational, hosted by Central Oklahoma on March 15-16. The team returns home to host the Washburn Invitational on March 22-23 at the Topeka Country Club. The team will travel to Kansas City,

Thirty-two-year high school head coach of the boy’s and girl’s golf teams and the coach and Washburn graduate boy’s basketball team. Ferré is a dynamic leader who has M.W. Axtell 1895 implemented many internal changes within the athletic department since arriving on campus. William L Driver 1910-13 He has put increasing scholarships and departmental fund-raising at the top of his list. No athletic director 1927-29 Elmer Ernest Bearg 1929-37 While at BHSU, Ferré was also director of the Donald E. Young Sports Fitness Center, a 172,000 square foot, $10.2 Elmer “Gus” Holm 1937-42 million facility. During his Black Hills tenure, the athletics department nearly tripled its outside revenue, including large Dee Errickson 1942-44 increases in ticket sales and scholarship funding. All 10 varsity teams won a conference title in his final three years. Dick Godlove 1944-64 Before joining the staff at Black Hills State, Ferré spent 17 years at the University of North Texas.
