He was 65. His most famous role was that of Bronson in the TV drama Grange Hill, but we fans remember him best as Admiral Ozzel in The Empire Strikes Back. He also appeared in episodes of Doctor Who and Blake’s 7. His other films included Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade, one of several appearances as Hitler. He wrote three memoirs of his life on stage and screen. At Con*Cept, he was a warm and friendly guest. Always cheerful, he lit up any room he entered, and left his fans with a lot of happy memories.
