We are always open to comments and suggestions though and there is a comment form at the end of the magazine or you can email the Parish Council office. As usual, you will find lots of news about what’s happening in the village and articles by some of our many community groups. Do make a note of the Christmas lighting up event which seems to get better and better every year and is always a very well attended community event. We’re biased, but we think it’s the best Christmas lights event in the area and we know many people come from other nearby villages. This year, it will be held on 29th November starting at 4.30pm. We hope you can make it. Edwinstowe Remembrance Service - Sunday 11th November 2018 In this special centenary year of remembrance, services all around the country will be making special mention of commemorative events that are taking place nationally and internationally. Reverend Ian Webb will deliver the church service and blessing and, once again Sir David Naish DL will represent Her Majesty the Queen and take the salute. We are grateful to the invaluable assistance of the Thoresby Band who will accompany the service throughout. The Royal British Legion welcomes residents and visitors alike and we very much look forward to witnessing another memorable remembrance service in Edwinstowe.
