Ko, who shot an 8-under-par 64 Sunday at Magna Golf Club, has now gone 106 holes without a bogey. She beat Nicole Broch Larsen, whose runner-up was her best career LPGA Tour finish, by five shots. Lizette Salas and Brooke Henderson tied for third at 19-under. Jin Young Ko’s winning score of 262 (-26) is a new CP Women’s Open tournament scoring record. She beat the prior record – held jointly by Ariya Juanugarn in 2016 and So Yeon Ryu in 2014 (265, -23) - by three shots. “It was (an) incredible crowd out here, and then lots of fans here and Koreans, too,” said Ko of the final round, where she was grouped with Broch Larsen and Henderson. Ko has won two majors already this year – the ANA Inspiration and the Evian Championship – along with the Bank of Hope Founders Cup.     ONTARIO SPORTS HALL OF FAME | Celebrating 27 Years. “1994-2021” 1 u | MESSAGE A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT… 2020 was a year of tremendous upheaval for our province, testing the patience and endurance of our communities as we managed through the covid-19 crisis. The priority for all of us was to focus on mitigating the spread of this virus and keeping our communities safe. To that end, we elected to reschedule our annual celebration one year out at a new venue, the John Bassett Theatre in order to recognize our inductees and special award recipients.     Defending Champion Inbee Park Heads List of Major Champions in 2015 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship NEW YORK (May 11, 2015) – Two-time defending champion Inbee Park heads a list of 22 major champions who will compete in the 2015 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, June 9-14, at Westchester Country Club , West Course, in Harrison, New York. Park, who captured back-to-back titles in 2013 and ’14 among her four career majors, will be joined by nine past Women’s PGA Champions: Laura Davies (1994, ’96); Se Ri Pak (1998, ’02, ’06); Juli Inkster (1999, 2000); Karrie Webb (2001); Suzann Pettersen (2007); Yani Tseng (2008, ’11); Anna Nordquist (2009); Cristie Kerr (2010); and Shanshan Feng (2012). The KPMG Women’s PGA Championship features a $3.5 million purse, among the highest in women’s golf. The Championship will be operated by the PGA of America in partnership with the LPGA. World No. 1-ranked Lydi Ko will be making her third consecutive Women’s PGA Championship appearance, and second as a professional. She finished third last year. Among those making their Women’s PGA Championship debut is Canadian star Brooke Henderson, 17, who finished third in the recent Swinging Skirts LPGA Classic in San Francisco. She received a special invitation to play in the Championship.
