This 3-day ride, we will show you the best spots that ending in the city of Vila Real. you should not miss. DAY 3 Day 1: Porto / Pinhão – 180kms (4h riding) On the 3rd and last day of the tour, it’s time to leave the Day 2: Pinhão / Vila Real – 135kms (2,5h riding) Douro valley behind, and head west, towards the coastline. Day 3: Vila Real / Porto – 170kms (4h riding) The next highlight is the Alvão Natural Park, with its magnificent waterfall and its twisting roads. Itinerary: You will ride on one of the most thrilling roads in Portugal: the N304. DAY 1 The Tour is almost coming to an end, but before its time to The day starts in the wonderful city of Porto. enjoy the twists of the Marão Mountain range, and stop at The fun begins. Amarante, for a well-deserved drink at a traditional location, On the first part of the day, the route will take you all the famous for its pastry. way to Peso da Régua, the main city in the Douro Valley. The last kms are a relaxing ride along the Douro river till You will be riding on roads full of curves and twists, almost you reach the city of Porto. without any straight lines. The 2nd part of the day will take you along the famous N222 (considered one of the best riding roads in the world), and to the most beautiful viewpoints of the region, riding in the middle of the vineyards on small roads, until you reach the destination, Pinhão, where a well-deserved rest awaits you.
DAY 2 Prepare yourself and sharpen your senses. This is a short day in kms, but full of highlights. On the 2nd day of the Tour, the route will take you into the “heart” of the Douro valley. The day begins riding towards the East, through a little road among the vineyards, before heading to one of the most dramatic views of the region: Valeira dam. The route continues towards the Lavandeira Castle and the Tua region, arriving at the departing village of the day, Pinhão. However, the day is not over!
