Cleveland Rocks! Why Instagram Model Catalina Golic Is a Fresh Face to Watch! Glamour Girl! Cleveland Rocks! Why Instagram Model Catalina Golic Is A Fresh Face To Watch! Author : Robert D. Cobb Bikinis. Swimsuit. Lingerie. Welcome to Glamour Girl!, INSCMagazine’s new bi-weekly feature that will appear every Monday and Friday. GG! will feature some of today’s hottest bikini, swimsuit, Instagram and fitness models, bloggers, influencers and actresses today in the realm of lifestyle, modeling and entertainment, with a touch of style, class, quality in-depth writing and eye-catching images. 1 / 9 2 / 9 Cleveland, Ohio. Once known for infamous sports moments such as The Drive, The Fumble and The Shot, The Rock and Roll Capital of The World in Cleveland, Ohio is now home to The Block, The Streak and The Comeback. Hard to believe that a Rust Belt city, that once rivaled Pittsburgh in terms of steel production and was once one of the greatest Midwestern cities not named Detroit or Chicago, became more well known for its river catching on fire and being the first US city to default. For years, Cleveland would be the butt of late night show jokes and a walking punchline due to its long- suffering sports teams in the form of the Indians, Browns and Cavaliers. Thanks to hosting the 2016 GOP Convention, seeing the Cavs complete a historic 3-1 comeback against the 73-win Golden State Warriors and it's beloved Indians play in one of the all-time classic World Series, Cleveland is rocking and is as hot as ever! Much like the Betty White show of the same name, everything is hot in Cleveland nowadays. Whether it is their aforementioned sports teams--there is still hope for the winless Browns!!--to the food scene thanks to the world-renowned Melt! to being the place where summer blockbusters such as The Avengers, Spider-Man 2 and Captain America: The Winter Soldier are filmed. Cleveland is where it's at these days. Long known for its rich history in sports, one suburb to the East is also making quite a name for itself in Mentor, Ohio. About 45 minutes east of Cleveland in Lake County, Mentor is the home of Mitchell Trubisky, the second overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, out of Mentor High School and Kareem Hunt, the 86th overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft of the Kansas City Chiefs out of Willoughby South. Lake County has also produced the likes of Tampa Bay Buccaneers Super Bowl XXXVII champion wide receiver, Joe Jurevicius from Mentor Lake Catholic. Sports, food and entertainment, Cleveland is ready to add another notch to its growing star in the form of model Catalina Golic. If you're a Browns fan or sports fan, the name Golic is instantly recognizable. The niece of former Browns defensive star Bob Golic, ESPN "Mike & Mike" personality Mike Golic and the second cousin of former Notre Dame offensive lineman and ESPN analyst Mike Golic Jr, Catalina is another 3 / 9 reason why Cleveland rocks! A stunning 5'10, one can tell that she inherited some of her family's athletic genes. Long-legged, eye- catching and easy on the eyes, Catalina has already modeled for the likes of CAUZ Clothing and Fashion Week Cleveland. Like all Clevelanders, Catalina is a die-hard Cleveland sports fan who loves her Indians, Cavs and Browns with a passion. With the winless Browns set to travel to the Windy City to tackle Trubisky and the Chicago Bears, check out my Q and A with Catalina as we talk about all things Cleveland, her famous uncles, her hometown producing NFL talent and of course a little Melt! O-H! Who Is She? Name: Catalina Golic Age: 20 Height: 5’10 Birthplace: Mentor, OH Measurements: 34-26-38 Social Media Links: Twitter: @kcgolic | Instagram: @kaygolic17 | Snapchat: kaygolic17 | Facebook: Catalina Golic Modeling Agency: Digital Image Photography Notable Brands, Publications and Media Featured IN: CAUZ Clothing CA, Lake Photography, Fashion Week Cleveland, Brown Aveda From one Clevelander to another, what would you say is the most “Cleveland” thing about you? I am a 4 / 9 die-hard Cleveland sports fan including the Browns, Cavs, Indians, etc. Despite them being winless, how excited are you for the Browns this season? I am very excited to see how Myles Garrett works with this crew, it was definitely a smart move by the Browns picking him up. I will always be rooting for the Browns to do well as my uncle, Bob Golic played for them in the past. You think LeBron stays or leaves next year? I strongly believe (and hope) LeBron will stay. Thoughts on Kyrie? Hands down one of the most phenomenal athletes I have ever had the pleasure of watching up close. He is such a great role model for young aspiring athletes from his work ethic to the way that he respects his coaches, teammates, and players on other teams as well. Although it would be very hard to see him move to another team, I can understand and respect the decisions he makes as a professional athlete. I hope that the place he winds up at brings nothing but success and happiness for him. MELT, Mr. Hero or Hot Sauce Williams? It’s 3am and you are hungry, and you had to choose one sandwich to eat, which is it and why? Honestly, I have had none of the above! I would probably try Melt over any of the other places though because of the great reviews I have heard. Since you graduated from the same high school as current No.2 overall pick in the NFL Draft in Mitchell Trubisky, did you ever meet or interact with him, if so, what was he like? Mitchell Trubisky played football with my older brother in high school, and his parents are good friends with mine, but I have not had much if any personal interaction with him as he was a few grades higher than me when we went to school together. Mitch always appears on television and in interviews as a very polite and hardworking person, and that is exactly how my brother would describe him. My brother also claims he is one of the most polite and respectful people around. It is wonderful to see things going so well for him now and I am planning on meeting him to find out if these positive remarks about him are true very soon. What is it with all the NFL players coming out of Mentor and Lake County? (Trubisky, Kareem Hunt (Willoughby South) and Joe Jurevicius (Lake Catholic) …and now models! It is honestly crazy to think about, but I suppose it’s just that Mentor mentality. We were all extremely blessed to grow up in wonderful places that focused on pushing young adults to shoot for the moon. And boy, we are all doing just that. Why do you think that The Land has become such a hot new place to model, shoot movies, etc? Cleveland has always been underrated. There are so many amazing sights in Cleveland and it is very suitable for shooting movies and creating scenes for photoshoots and other things of that sort. 5 / 9 However, I believe the athletics put such a spark in things in Cleveland on top of having weather that will fit any occasion (depending on the day), and not being insanely crowded like other big cities which can be useful. How do you loved ones and family feel about you being in modeling? They are all very incredibly loving and supporting of everything I do whether it’s school or sports or modeling. They always help me through everything and are truly amazing people to have around. I could not be more thankful for them. What kind of model are you (IG, fitness, bikini, lingerie) All of the above! How long have you been modeling? I started when I was around ten, but I took a break to compete in volleyball, which ended due to four fractures to the lumbar spine, which brought me back to the modeling world. What first inspired you to become one? My interest started when I was in theatre at a very young age, and being on stage/in the spotlight was a feeling I fell in love with. Modeling found me actually when volleyball ended for me. As a model, do you feel that more can be done by those in the industry? Why and why not? The modeling industry needs to stop using unhealthy, emaciated looking women to promote products because that look is unhealthy and unrealistic to achieve. They also need to stop advertising all of the supposed “get thin quick” schemes as they do not work and promote the idea that women should not be okay with the way they look right now. Using a wider variety of both men and women of all shapes and sizes will better promote products if they are viewed as versatile and everyone can use/wear that item/product. Where has been your favorite place to shoot? Anywhere in Cleveland! I love being able to represent the city I am from. What is the most exciting aspect of modeling? My favorite part of modeling is helping to develop and promote a much more positive mindset about health and wellness to young girls rather than being someone that looks like she has not eaten for weeks. I want to change the mindset of the younger generations to come. Describe a typical day? During the school year, I usually go to class in the mornings, study in the afternoon, go to the gym and lift, and then in the evenings I like to read, play guitar, hangout with friends and watch movies or find fun things to do with them.

2 Michigon State News, East Lansing, Michigan MSU v. ND: two hungry teams Both teams need wins after rather slow start By JOECENTERS State News Sports Writer When MSU hosts Notre Dame Saturday in a 1:30 p.m. clash at Spartan Stadium, it will be the 44th time that the two football teams will have met. But this game will be far different than most of the meetings between the two schools. This contest will be between two tearhs that are fighting for its lives, which is unusual for both MSU and Notre Dame this early in the season. Both schools are 1-2 this season and the team that winds up on the short end of the score could find itself in a hole with no way to get out. The Irish lost their first two games of the season, a 3-0 setback to Missouri and a 28-14 defeat at the hands of Michigan, MSU's opponent next week in Ann Arbor. Last Saturday, Notre Dame finally got on the right track by beating Purdue 10-6. State News/Deborah J. Borin The Boilermakers took a 6-0 halftime lead on two field goals by Scott Sovereen, but that's all of the offense that Purdue could Lonnie Middleton (44), MSU's starting fullback, tries to burst past three muster against the Irish. A third quarter touchdown by Jerome Syracuse defenders in MSU's 49-21 win earlier this season. Heavens and a 27-yard field goal by Joe Unis later on in the same Middleton and his teammates will be seeking to rebound against Notre stanza gave Notre Dame its margin of victory.
