The Atlanta Hawks are hosting their “Paint the Town” event at Atlantic Station on October 25 (beginning at 12 noon) to tip off the 2009-10 NBA season and all of Atlanta is invited. Highlighting the afternoon will be the unveiling of the team’s red second road uniform. Fans will have the chance to meet and mingle with their favorite players at LA Fitness, City Sports, Kilwin’s, Fox Sports Grill and the central park area of Atlantic Station, as well as have some fun with interactive games, inflatables and more. Team mascots and members of the A-Town Dancers will also be on-hand and available for photos and autographs. Games and inflatables will be set up beginning at 12 noon, with players scheduled to arrive at 2 p.m. At 3 p.m., players and coaches are scheduled to convene in the central park area (between Rosa Mexicano and Strip) for a free autograph session. The Hawks, a member of the National Basketball Association since 1949, play in the Southeast Division, along with the Charlotte Bobcats, Miami Heat, Orlando Magic and Washington Wizards. .
