18:00 – 18:30 Inauguration of Innovation Showcase Pavilion (ISP) An exhibition showcasing innovative products and services that can accelerate the global deployment of clean energy will be a unique public feature of CEM4. The government of India will host the Innovation Showcase Pavilion on 16–18 April 2013 in a venue alongside the Ministerial meeting. The pavilion will include approximately 40 booths representing innovative and globally deployable products and services that tangibly demonstrate the advancement of clean energy technologies.

The inauguration of the ISP will take place on 16 April at 18:00 with ribbon cutting conducted by:  Dr. Farooq Abdullah, of New and Renewable Energy of India  Steven Chu, Secretary of Energy,

18:30 – 20:00 C3E Women in Clean Energy Event The event will feature VIP Remarks from:  Dr. Farooq Abdullah, Minister of New and Renewable Energy of India  Syeda Hameed, Planning Commission of India  Elizabeth Dipuo Peters, of A short film on the C3E Initiative and its goals will be screened, follow by a panel discussion on “Women and Clean Energy Innovation” moderated by Leena Srivastava with TERI and featuring four distinguished panelists.

They will also discuss the role of the CEM in supporting them. In addition, they can announce relevant progress or outcomes, make recommendations, and/or commit to deliverables.

A Chair’s summary, press release and recommendations for how to best advance the CEM process will be discussed.
