Judo: Spettacolo E Sorprese Ai Campionati Giapponesi Judo: spettacolo e sorprese ai Campionati Giapponesi Si tratta solamente di una competizione nazionale, ma gli All-Japan Championships, i Campionati Giapponesi di Judo, sono una delle rassegne dal contenuto tecnico più elevato in questo sport. Vediamo tutti i risultati nel dettaglio, tra conferme e sorprese, con tanto di fuoriclasse eliminati al primo turno. DONNE 48 kg: in assenza della due volte campionessa mondiale Haruna Asami, è stata la sorprendente diciottenne Ami Kondo, già vincitrice del Grand Slam di Tokyo l’anno scorso, che ha sconfitto la più quotata compagna di club Emi Yamagishi. Podio per Tamami Yamazaki e Misato Toda. 52 kg: due volte campionessa mondiale, Misato Nakamura è stata sconfitta in finale da Yuka Nishida, a sua volta oro iridato nel 2010 ma esclusa proprio dalla Nakamura ai Giochi di Londra 2012. Terzo posto per la campionessa uscente Yuki Hashimoto e per Nodoka Tanimoto. 57 kg: grande lotta in questa categoria, dove ad avere la meglio è stata Nae Udaka, che non partiva certamente con i favori del pronostico. La vincitrice del Grand Slam di Tokyo ha battuto in finale la medaglia d’oro del Grand Slam di Parigi, Anzu Yamamoto. Bene anche la giovane Christa Deguchi, terza assieme a Makiko Otomo, mentre non hanno neanche raggiunto il podio atlete del calibro di Kaori Matsumoto ed Aiko Sato. La campionessa olimpica Matsumoto è stata eliminata al primo turno proprio dalla Otomo. 63 kg: altra eliminazione eccellente fra le 63 kg. La venticinquenne Kana Abe, infatti, non ha superato il primo turno, lasciando la vittoria della competizione a Yuka Osumi, proveniente dalla categoria superiore. Argento alla semisconosciuta Natsumi Katagiri, bronzo a Maho Nishikawa e Miku Tashiro. 70 kg: Karen Nunira si è aggiudicata il titolo nazionale, eliminando la vincitrice del Grand Slam di Tokyo, Chizuru Arai, e l’ex promessa Haruka Tachimoto. In finale ha sconfitto Rui Takahashi, sua compagna d’allenamento. Sul podio anche Yoko Ono e Yuko Imai. 78 kg: Ruika Sato, reduce da un infortunio al ginocchio, ha ottenuto la vittoria finale su Tomomi Okamura. Medaglie di bronzo per Misaki Hidala e Mami Umeki. +78 kg: non avrebbe dovuto avere rivali. E invece Megumi Tachimoto, vincitrice a Tokyo e a Düsseldorf, ha subito una clamorosa sconfitta contro Kanae Yamabe, che si era già fatta vedere al Grand Slam di Parigi e a Roma, vincendo in entrambe le occasioni. Terze Miku Eboshi e Suzuka Ichihashi. UOMINI 60 kg: un’anomalia che finalmente ha avuto fine. Campione del mondo a Rio de Janeiro, Naohisa Takato non aveva mai vinto un titolo nazionale. Questa volta è riuscito a superare tutti, incluso Hironori Ishikawa in finale. “Ho vinto questa finale con un judo che somiglia a quello degli stranieri, ma voglio diventare campione del mondo con un judo più giapponese”, ha affermato Takato. Ryo Kawabata e Toru Shishime si sono dovuti accontentare del terzo posto. 66 kg: solamente numero 47 del mondo, Kengo Takaichi è il nuovo campione nazionale giapponese. Il ventunenne si è preso la sua rivincita su Tuhei Rokugo, che lo aveva sconfitto al Grand Prix di Jeju, ma soprattutto i due hanno estromesso dalla finale il favorito Masashi Ebinuma, vincitore del Grand Prix di Düsseldorf e favorito della vigilia. Il due volte campione del mondo si è dovuto accomodare sul terzo gradino del podio con Masaaki Fukuoka, il vincitore della scorsa edizione. 73 kg: Shohei Ono è ritornato alle competizioni vincendo l’oro e sconfiggendo il suo rivale più accreditato, Riki Nakaya. Sul terzo gradino del podio è salito Hiroyuki Akimoto, vale a dire che in una premiazione di un campionato nazionale erano presenti gli ultimi tre campioni del mondo della categoria! Bronzo anche per Takenori Nakamura. 81 kg: il ventenne Takanori Nagase ha dominato la concorrenza. Già oro a Tokyo e bronzo a Parigi, Nagase ha battuto Keita Nagashima in finale, argento ai World Masters 2013. Sul podio anche Gouki Maruyamaa e Takahiro Nakai. 90 kg: in una categoria non molto fruttuosa per il Giappone, la vittoria è andata a Yuya Yoshida, che in finale ha battuto Masyu Beiker. Terzo gradino del podio per due out-sider come Shohei Shimowada e Takeshi Sugawara. 100 kg: altra categoria poco amata dai nipponici, ha consacrato Yusuke Kumashiro sul gradino più alto del podio. Il favorito Takashi Ono ha chiuso solamente al terzo posto insieme a Mizuki Otsu, mentre la medaglia d’argento è finita al collo di Ryunosuke Haga. +100 kg: l’atteso duello ha avuto luogo, ed il vincitore è stato Daiki Kamikawa, l’ultimo uomo ad aver sconfitto Teddy Riner nel 2010, che ha superato Ryu Shichinohe in finale. Le ultime medaglie di questi All-Japan Championships sono finite al collo di Hisayoshi Harasawa e Takeshi Ojitani. .

Toda Bogdan je ves čas verjel v judoistke in judoiste, ki so si v teh letih izborili status ene najuspešnejših slovenskih športnih panog v prvi kategoriji olimpijskih športov. Judo zveza Slovenije je pod njegovim vodstvom nedvomno postala zgodba o uspehu. V vseh teh letih je Judo zvezo vodil vizionarsko, z neizmerno voljo in energijo, predvsem pa z ljubeznijo do tega plemenitega športa. Ko me je Bogdan leta 1996 povabil k sodelovanju v našem domačem klubu, si nikoli nisem mislil, da bom ostal zvest judu vse do danes.
