Art Exhibition by Audrey Kyle and Laura Butler

Two local artists, Audrey Kyle and Laura Butler, collaborate in this joint exhibition, which celebrates their shared love of Islandmagee.

Inspired by nature and the stunning location around her farm near the Gobbins, Audrey paints freestyle in watercolours, local views, including cottages, animals and wildflowers.

Drawn always to the places where the presence of people can be felt, Laura paints vivid scenes in oils and acrylics wherein homes both occupied and deserted are glimpsed within the landscape.

Audrey was born and bred in Islandmagee, whilst Laura grew up in but has known the Island all her life, enjoying weekends and holidays in an old cottage only a mile or two from where Audrey lives.

The exhibition will be on display from Friday 7th June until Wednesday 26th June 2019.
