Randolph M. Sanchez, CSM/CMD/CRX General Manager of Coronado Center

Randy Sanchez has lived in the Westside of the city with his wife and three children for 24 years. He was born and raised in Albuquerque’s south valley, and attended Rio Grande High School.

Mr. Sanchez attended Columbia College in Columbia, , where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with an emphasis in shopping center management and marketing.

His tenure in the shopping center industry spans over 35 years in eight regional malls throughout the country. His career began working in mall management at the Galleria in Dallas, . Before joining Coronado Center in 1993, Mr. Sanchez was mall manager of in Charlotte, area. He obtained the designation of Certified Shopping Center Manager (CSM) and Certified Marketing Director (CMD), through the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and has since received his Certified Retail Executive (CRX) status. Mr. Sanchez is a past winner of the coveted ICSC Maxi awards as well as several other marketing related awards. During the last twenty-four years, Mr. Sanchez has been an active member in the community serving 16 years as Chairman of the Board for the Retail Association; Board member of Atrisco Oil & Gas; past chairman and board member of the Hispano Chamber of Commerce; past board member of the Central NM Workforce Connection; current Chairman of the Atrisco Heritage Foundation and of Rio Grande Educational Collaborative. He was an honorary Commander at Kirtland Air Force Base for 7 years.

Mr. Sanchez has been a past President and active member of the Uptown Progress Team; past board member of the NM chapter of National Association of Office & Industrial Properties (NAIOP); City of Albuquerque Lodgers Tax Advisory Board; New Mexico Advertising Federation; past chair of the Albuquerque / Bernalillo County Air Quality Control Board; past Board member of Westland Development; FBI Citizens Academy graduate; Salary Commissioner for Mayor / City Council and sits on the Small Business Advisory Committee for Albuquerque Public Schools Superintendent.
