Aquatic Capital of America Inaugural Hall of Fame Dinner & Ceremony Event Facts

Event Description: The ACOA Hall of Fame Ceremony celebrates and honors 15 inductees into the inaugural class of the ACOA’s Hall of Fame. ACOA’s Hall of Fame honors individuals and groups that have made significant contributions to the City of Long Beach’s aquatic community. A major goal of ACOA is to include the physical Hall of Fame in the new Belmont Plaza Olympic Pool once it is completed.

Aquatic Capital of America Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non- profit organization (TID# 45-3070854), was formed in 2008 to promote the myriad of aquatic activities offered in Long Beach, California; to recognize, honor and support the City of Long Beach and its aquatic athletes, coaches, and organizations; and to promote water safety and education. The Foundation also supports community and regional efforts to cleanse local waterways as well as to increase the number of local aquatic facilities.
