Her performances can transition seamlessly from the defiant anthems that can motivate thousands of festival-goers into a rousing sing-a-long, to the most hushed and fragile ballads that can captivate an audience into a spellbound silence. Wherever Wallis can be found, she stands out as a powerful, contradictory presence – one that can unite audiences anywhere she plays. “The sheer visceral energy of Wallis Bird could kick-start an entire economy” - The Irish Times Stage Saturday 4th January - 8pm - €23 Music Play School Awards Theatre Royal Presents School HAMLET REVIEW Comedy Psychic Classical Choirs A bold and exciting 90-minute performance of Hamlet will help students gain a deeper understanding of Shakespeare’s iconic Play masterpiece by lifting the play off the page Schools Ballet Kids Comedy Aged 4-7 and onto the stage, making it accessible for students as they start their exam revision. • Presse Wallis Bird
Medieninformation Wallis Bird New Moon Tour 2019 Gesucht: Synthese von folkigen Roots & Soul.

Centering on the reminiscences of Rose McNulty, a woman who has spent over fifty years in state institutions, The Secret Scripture is a deeply moving story of love lost and redeemed, against the backdrop of an emerging Irish state in which female sexuality and independence unsettles the colluding patriarchies of church and nationalist politics. Demonstrating Sheridan’s trademark skill with actors, his profound sense of story, and depth of feeling for Irish social history, The Secret Scripture marks a return to personal themes for the writer-director as well as a reunion with producer Noel Pearson, almost a quarter of a century after their breakout success with My Left Foot.
