The occurrence of plant species remarkable for the Altmark region (Germany, Saxony-An- halt) are discussed. Das Beobachtungsgebiet Das Gebiet gehört großräumig zu den Altmarkplatten, einer flach welligen, durch die Abla- gerungen der Saale-Eiszeit geprägten Landschaft. Der Radweg folgt dem traditionellen We- genetz und wird größtenteils von landwirtschaftlichen Nutzflächen begleitet. Nur südlich der Deetzer Warte wird ein Zipfel des sich westlich erstreckenden Kiefernforstes und zwi- schen Börgitz und Uchtspringe ein Eichen-Buchen-Altholzbestand durchquert. Stehende und fließende Gewässer – bis auf drei schmale, unbedeutende Gräben südlich von Kläden – fehlen im Gebiet. Somit kamen für die Beobachtungen nur die Weg- und Straßenränder sowie die Ruderalstellen und die Äcker selbst in Frage.
