BIOGRAPHY KISS BAND: 17 Paul Stanley Alias: Stanley Bert Eisen is an American singer and musician, born January 20, 1952, in Queens, Manhattan, New York he's known worldwide for being Starchild the frontman from the KISS singers group and the rhythm guitarist of the hard rock band KISS since he founded the group in 1973.

Private life: Paul Stanley to marry his first wife actress Pamela Bowen in 2001, filed for divorce after nine years of marriage. They have a son, Evan Shane Stanley born June 6, 1994. On November 19, 2005, Paul Stanley married his longtime girlfriend Erin Sutton at the Ritz-Carlton in Pasadena, California. They had their first child, Colin Michael Stanley on September 6, 2006. The couple had their second child, Sarah Brianna, on January 28, 2009 in Los Angeles. On August 9,2011,they had their third child, Emily Grace. Medical: Paul Stanley underwent two hip replacement surgeries: one after the "Rock the Nation" tour in October 2004 and a second in December 2004 after complications following the first surgery. He announced that he would need a third hip operation in the future. He considers that the degeneration of his left hip is partly due to the impressive number of concerts performed in flat boots since the early 1970s. Passion: Paul Stanley liked to listen to music and he watche American Bandstand on television. His favorite musical artists were Eddie Cochran, Dion and the Belmonts, Jerry Lee Lewis and Little Richard. He listened to a lot of doo-wop music, but when the Beatles and Rolling Stones played on American television, he was instantly inspired and decided to devote himself fully to music. Youth: His two parents are Jewish: he is the second child of the family, born two years after his sister Julia. His mother came from a family that fled Nazi Germany to Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and then to New York. His father's parents were from Poland. His parents listened to classical music and opera: Paul Stanley was touched by Beethoven's works. His right ear was deformed because of a congenital malformation called microtia: he was unable to hear from that side, so it was difficult for him to determine the direction of a sound and he could not hear words in a noisy environment. During his schooling, he was taunted by other children because of his distorted ear.

Before Kiss, Paul Stanley was in a local band, Rainbow (not to be confused with Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow) and was a member of Uncle Joe and PostWarBaby Boom. Thanks to a Gene Simmons mutual friend, Paul Stanley joined Gene Simmons' band Wicked Lester in the early 1970s. The band recorded an album in 1972, but it was not officially released (although songs from the album appeared on Box Set 2001 of Kiss). After the separation of Wicked Lester,Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons responded to the Peter Criss advertisement in Rolling Stone (August 31, 1972) and shortly after recruiting Peter Criss, they organized auditions for a solo guitarist, Paul Stanley placing an advertisement in the VillageVoice.Despite what Paul Stanley,Peter Criss, and Gene Simmons admit to being a flickering first impression, Ace Frehley was engaged through his game, which everyone said matched perfectly with the band's sound and style. KISS Meets the Phnatom Of The Park (also known as the Phantoms' attackingname in Europe and KISS Phantoms in Italy) is a 1978 made for television featuring American hard rock band KISS and produced byHanna Barbera Production's animation studio. The plot of the film revolves around Kiss, who uses his super powers to fight against an evil inventor (Abner Devereaux, played by Anthony Serbe) and to save the destruction of a Californian artraction park. NBC aired the film at the height of Kiss's popularity in the United States. Due to the poor quality of the script and the semi-comic scenario of the film,most of Kiss's fans did not like the movie. Despite its poor quality, the film has achieved cult status. Kiss members themselves have despised the film for making them appear asjesters. For years after its release, no one working for the group was allowed tomention the film in their presence.

The name of Kiss is initially proposed by Paul Stanley with Simmons and Criss, during a walk around New York .Peter Criss recalls that he played in a band called Lips, and Stanley says, "What do you think of KISS? ". The name of Gene Simmons smother Klein, which means "small" in German, is sometimes spelled Kis, in Hungarian how ever this is not the origin of the group name. Some rumors indicate that the name "Kiss" would be the acronym for Knights In Satan's Service (literally, "Knights in Satan's Service"), Kinder SS ("SS Child"), or Kids In Satan's Service ("Satan service children"). They are refuted by Simmons himself 16,17.
