0 1 mile From the Airport to the IfA HALEIWA Take Interstate Route H-1 east (toward Honolulu) to the Punahou Street exit. At the exit stoplight turn left onto Punahou Street. Continue up Punahou Street through the traffic light at WAHIAWA KANEOHE Nehoa Street. Get in the right lane and continue through another light at Lanihuli Drive. After this light, take the right fork. You will now be on East Manoa Road. Continue on East Manoa Road, cross Oahu Avenue (a continuation of University Avenue), and make the next right at AIEA KAILUA Kolowalu Street. Kolowalu Street becomes Woodlawn Drive. OAHU WAIMANALO The Institute's address is 2680 Woodlawn Drive. Our modern-style, two-story buildings are EWA located on the left side of Woodlawn Drive, just after the UH Press buildings and across the HONOLULU street from Noelani Elementary School. There is a grassy lawn and "Institute for Astronomy" WA IKIKI sign out front. If you park in the IfA parking lot, be sure to ask the IfA Administration Office for a visitor's parking pass.
